It's been a while ago since I've been here.
So I'm creating not just a single map or a model. I'm creating the whole game using Unreal Engine with my frinds. I don't know which the topic should used for posting this? Sorry if I was avoid some rules and selecter the wrong topic.
I would like to share to you with my game, that I making with my friends, it's called "MIMESIS".
"MIMESIS" - is a multiplayer Hide'n'Seek action-shooter game, inspired by the once popular PropHunt addon for Garry's Mod. The game is currently under development, but feel free join our Discord server for more info and support on Kickstarter! 😎

'Nightclub' is an Arms Race/Deathmatch map I've been working on for the last week.
Available now as alpha preview.
Hoping to fully release by Christmas Eve.
Currently 'Nightclub' features music, using 'Vortal Combat' from HL2 EP2 as a temp track. However it might be changed or removed later on.
(In case you're actually wondering 'what happened to the "Inmate" map?', the files fucked up so I gave up instantly lol)

lol, haven't updated this thread in a long time I've been working on this on and off throughout the year and I'm getting close to calling it done. The architecture is about 90% done, then it's time for the backdrop, foliage (all temp assets now), set dressing and polish... well I actually still have quite a bit left to do, but feels good to be over the most critical part (architecture).

So I wanted to archive what I felt is the finest unreleased Source mod, Nuclear Dawn. I know it was eventually released, but the team had changed so much that I don't feel it matched the original team's vision. There may be more media out there, but this is the stuff I was able to find and wanted to archive. I may want to do this for Nightwatch as well, since that appears to be the finest unreleased Half-Life mod.

After a hiatus of 3 months or so, i had finally could create a testable BETA version of my defuse map. If you want to give it a spin i had updated it on the WORKSHOP too.
Below are some screenshots. The rocks are by me, the ground materials (4way blend), are by me made from various textures from textures.com, the water texture, the spruces and related models are by @Yanzl, the bushes and some of the ground vegetation are from Cry Engine 5.7 SDK (i hope it's not illegal).

I feel bad for the people on our forums that work there. You try to do your best, act professionally and then it all goes down the drain because some individuals can't not shit where they eat. Same thing happened with Ubisoft when it made the headlines last year. It's good that people are talking about it. I just hope there's gonna be an improvement.

Hope you like honey! Because our new wingman map, Hive, has just gone live on the workshop. Set in a fictional research facility, the map pits teams in a fight over a new kind of bees that are said to produce the sweetest honey in the world. This has been a month long collaboration between me, @celery and @jakuza.
We are happy with current quality of the map but there are still few things that we are trying to improve on.
Some of the areas still need some smaller details, alpha sorting issues with glass brushes, lighting in some of the areas could be brighter. We are confident that those issues should be fixed in 2 weeks.

As one of the artists, one of my major tasks was creating a majority of the concrete materials used across the level. I made a total of 16 unique non-PBR materials authored in Substance Designer. I'd like to show a few of the finished materials in renders, and will post some model renders in the future.

It's been a while since we posted a proper update here but a lot has changed in the last two months.
- B site has received a full rework
- rotations are faster and simpler
- mid was reworked to make it fair and fun
- outside A now has a tunnel connecting it directly to B site
The version shown here should be live by tonight and we are hoping to finalize the layout soon.
Feedback is, as always, very welcome and maybe I'll see some of you in the next playtest 😉
