  1. Three years ago I posted the third map I had ever created. Three years is a lot of time, and this map has taken up two years of it working on and off. I've just finished the final peppering of details, now it's onto the last optimization pass and uploading it to somewhere to be appreciated I suppose. As the title implies, it has no proper name. Originally labelled as apartmentinthesky_vX it's long changed away from that theme, leaving me with a to be named finished project. Any ideas? I'm not sure there's much else to say. The style, while all within the HL2-esque aesthetic, is all over the place. The room placement borders on surreal. Who puts a trainstation ticketing area in an apartment building with the main entrance being from a set of sewers at the same level as the ground level? I'm very proud of what I've been able to pull out of the Source engine visual wise, while still maintaining a respectable framerate in even the most poorly optimized of areas.   3. I think we would all appreciate a cl_leveloverview x screenshot, as I'm still a bit confused on the layout. Har har silly me I didn't see the overview shot on the fourth page. Looking crazy cool.
  4. Honestly, in between making shitty CS:GO maps and planning said maps I spend alot of time replaying HL2 with mods, or just SP mods in general. I just can't get enough HL. Infact, I might just try my hand at mapping for Synergy, as it just released its workshop.

  12. This was a Garry's mod map I just stopped working on in favor of CS:GO maps. It was to be used for Prop Hunt, or Hide 'n Seek. It was based off of a apartment complex I had passed by. The actual interior was inspired by images from Google. The first shot of the Elevator Interior reminds me of Cube 2: Sauerbraten.

  14. I'd love to nab one of these slots for de_smoke (Greybox): Playtest 11.01.15 [OPEN] [OPEN] However, if possible I would much prefer it on the 10th and not the 11th of January, as staying up til 12 PST time is rather bad for my schedule the next day.
  15. Thanks for the thoughts so far, I'll get a radar working, remove extraneous cover and try and get a slot on the play testing server. If I'm correct 21:00 CEST would be 12 PM PST.
