    Trucking along with the SD contest. It's feeling really amorphous. Really needs some more definition. Not done a lighting pass yet so that might help. Decals might also help add a splash more colour.

    Here's some WIP of the entry I wasn't able to finish in time. Still going to finish it though!

    Currently doing art and lighting rework. Still haven't used any decals or vertex painting which will be the final pass. Gonna get a lot more vegetation in there and lastly some fitting post-process effects.

    @kinggambit that looks incredible man, you've really improved since the map you were working on for the contest
     
    I just got back from Seattle last night and got some inspiration, but I'm just about to head out again on another trip so before it passed I quickly pieced together a modern townhouse type scene. Sorry for no compile.




     
    Used a bunch of assets from agency and resort as well, so cheers to those creators!

    Mapcore,
    It's high time I present myself and the map I've been working intensely on for the past three months: de_scepter.
    The name:
    Scepter (/'sep-ter/) refers to the symbolic ornamental staff or wand held by a ruling monarch. My reasoning behind using the US spelling of the word instead of 'Sceptre', is that I believe it's less prone to mispronounciation among us non-native english speakers.. In case anyone from the UK was wondering ;-).
    Setting and plot:
    The map itself is set in a fictional palace somewhere in Germany. Once a seat of power in central Europe, now a popular attraction and world heritage site. The architecture is influenced by neo gothicism. 
    The Phoenix has set out to fund their operations by stealing the crown jewels that are up on display in the castle treasury. They succeed in doing so, though choose to leave some men behind for one final explosive message. Counter-Terrorists arrive just before this happens.
    I aim to tie this into Scepter 2 and possibly 3 as an overaching story, inspired by the campaign format of Left 4 Dead.
    Miscellaneous map information:
    Scepter features my own custom textures and models, made specically for this map.
    Playable area is roughly 3500 x 3600 hammer units (small, comparable in size to Dust 2)

    Hey folks, just released a trailer for our final year project at Supinfogame.
    "Feral is a hunting game in which you play as a feline animal at the first person view. You have to hunt to survive in this forest. But becareful, because you are not the only predator in this world... "
    We had a lot of fun while creating this gam: First person animal body awareness, AI, Open world, UE4, optimization... A lot of extremely interesting challenges !
