    I replaced the initial water texture with a texture made by @Yanzl, also i replaced those "dust" palms with pines, also made by him, and oleanders.

    Hello Mapcore peeps, it's ya boi Horse Strangler aka BananaSandbags aka BillGatesFan69.
    Been working on this one for around two years now with the talented folks over at Gunfire Games. The game releases tonight (at the time of writing this post). Darksiders 3 is a Adventure/RPG hack and slash. A lot of the art here focused on a semi-stylized PBR look. It's not quite Blizzard hand painterly, but it's seen a lot of inspiration from it. Was a fun time transitioning that look and style to a pbr heavy engine like UE4. I plan to do a writieup of some of the interesting art challenges we faced working on the game for the site in the near future, so keep an eye out for that one!

    My custom ivy. To obtain textures i collected some ivy leafs from my neighborhood and scanned them, being arranged in different random combinations a few times. Then to the HD pictures obtained i made an alpha mask, then i combined them in gimp to obtain a proper texture for the model. By using a scanner i obtained clear images without lightning issues or inequalities.

    Well I wanted to wait a bit longer to have more to show but as it's progressing very slowly, here are some shots from almost finished areas. I spent last month to update the art with better texture work and detail, and also optimisation (if combine props works...) hope you will like it.

    So this is the few scans of arizona/nevada desert i took from google earth + an elevation data from Nationalmap.gov  and quickly combined them together into a little scene, but there's a lot of work to be done obviously.I havent done any de-lighting yet and there's no detail textures in place to hide the blurrines of the main ones. 
    Someone asked how i did the scanning on twitter. So the process is simple. You pick an object that you want to scan in google maps. Then you disable all the interface, and fly a camera around that object, making about 20-30 screenshots. After all of that you do the usual thing in AgiSoft photoscan.

    I've been dabbling with Dying Light Developers Tools/SDK for the past couple of days; brilliant tools. Techland have done a commendable job on the game and the SDK altogether ; respect
    I put together a random scene just to test the SDK and I'm loving it. I'm considering expanding this to a full single player mission.

    Sup peeps. Just finished another csgo map with buds @'RZL and @MaanMan. We've been working on this one for a good while now, maybe since December of last year. It was challenging at times, but we're finally happy to put it out there.

    Hi all!
    Here's a preview of DE_SUBZERO. The awesome Tanuki (creator of Seaside and Downtown) helped design the layout, and I created all the art. However, penE from DE_CACHE made the old-school crates as a cameo, I love that guy   Shout out to all the wonderful people who provided helpful feedback on the visuals and gameplay so far!

    Abandoned the idea of having CT spawn on A Bombsite A increased in size with more cover A long and short have been linked with a connector A long T entry into the bombsite is now a dropdown Terrorists now have default control of "A short open area" Removed verticality on "A short open area" Mid timings have been tightened

    Hello! first I want to wish you all a Merry Christmas   and I also want to share with you the progress I've been making on the map the past couple of weeks. Most of the time I worked on the cosmetic part of the map but I've also been busy fixing minor layout issues that were found during playtests.

    Hi

    I'm working on a demolition map for the csmapmakers subreddit contest with @Quotingmc and @VIOLATION.
    We have a layout we are happy with and I started making models for it. Here are some screenshots :














    The main reason I'm posting my work is to ask @Yanzl and @'RZL an important question...

    Please, could we use some of your models from Resort? \o/ (I believe it's Yanzl's work :p)

    I'm asking because I'm not a 3D modeler, I can barely use the extrude thing in 3Ds Max, I press the Auto Smooth button and I apply a texture that in most cases I take from the de_nuke files...
    I really like your props, chairs, beds and other hotel stuff you made, it's super cute and clean and I could remake all of that but it would take me months and I don't have that much time to work the map.
    I plan to add some easter eggs in any case, little references to others maps / mappers and I plan to give some "lore" to the map by making a connection with other maps like cs_cruise and some official maps.

    Thank you in advance for your answer, it's ok if it's a "no", in any cases, I like your work guys!
