  1. Thanks! That's a great compliment coming from a level designer of your calibre kind sir
  2. *** UPDATE: *** The role has now been filled -- thanks to everyone who applied! *** We might need more people to help later on so feel free to still send through your portfolios! ***
  3. Indeed. Too much reading about materials! I've updated the original post I have access to on Reddit: http://www.reddit.com/r/gameDevClassifieds/comments/2a75m5/fps_level_designers_and_map_makers_wanted/ Thanks Puddy!
  4. Thanks FrieChamp! Just to clarify, we don't have anything playable yet. The plan is to put together a nice trailer (currently in the hands of a storyboard artist) and some fly-throughs of levels, and then use these as promotional material for a KickStarter campaign, as well as use the levels in the game itself. Before anyone runs away at the mention of KickStarter, the level work prior to the campaign is funded, and I prefer to pay 50% up-front as I also work as a freelance myself and understand the need to eat and pay bills The main impetus behind this game is community. In recent years we've all become accustomed to FPS franchises where new sequels are pumped out regularly, and there's a reluctance by players to commit time and energy into playing because they're worried this will be wasted effort when the new version of Call of Battlewhatever comes out. Given my experience as an app/web developer I'm aiming to provide the game with more of a team-based feeling, aimed both at casual clans and esport competitive teams. I can't say too much more without giving it all away, but that's the gist. Tapping into community for both players and makers alike (think Steam Workshop) is something a few titles are working with, and so I'd like to add another contender to that genre re team-based FPS
