    de_decline (WIP)

    Decline will have to wait another year before i can finish it. I am in the middle of moving and I feel like i have wasted most of my vacation researching and developing maps and other content. I'll will be enjoying the rest of my summer and I hope that Decline is the best map that i can create. Thank you for those who have supported me since the beginning.

    Decline is a map that is meant to focus on simplicity and strategic variety, the main goal is to allow the player to do any type of strategy with the only limit being the skill of the players. The goal is to make the map as functional and as clean as possible, while keeping it aesthetic. Decline has been carefully made with community feedback following many reiterations.     Rethinking layout

    Well for those who where interested in my project de_decline. I've been rethinking the layout. People may have liked the older play style but I felt like something has been missing from it all. The original v2 was enjoyed I by play testers because if it's quick times and the fact that it provides open areas and simple design. V2 http://imgur.com/50q99330q9933 But on my next layout (v4) Im going to try something a little different. http://imgur.com/OC9cMSh Left A site was changed a little but I plan on redoing Right B site and mid. Change the entrance to a with a catwalk/tunnel area to keep things different. I question is do you guys think it's to big of a change and will it ruin the style of v2 or, or is v4 just straight up garbo. Thanks.
  8. Well i was bored and i was thinking, "we should have a Notification center for windows" so i decided to start working on a concept and hopefully get a coder to help me with this project. I'm trying to decide between 3 styles. Top is kinda a Steam Metro style Icons Middle i rushed, I was thinking full out line and clear fill Bottom is just regular stock icons. On the Top bar i can add Volume and settings and quick access to my computer and maybe CPU temp, stats, and etc. In Conclusion, what do you think, is it a good idea, and what direction should i take this?
  9. I don think that is possible. Brush and mesh are very different. In hammer mesh can be far more detailed in terms of shape and texture. but you can use both to make a great high detail level. in fact i would ask for your help with custom models on my map.
