Hi guys, been working on this on and off since finishing up Chinatown and its now at a stage where I can show it off and get some comments/crits and for people to post playtest feedback.
The map aims to be a more traditional Counterstrike map, both competitively and publicly viable. Good for a 5v5 match up but also fun with much more unorganised players. It also attempts to emulate some of the play styles of cs1.6 with wallbanging being an option throughout the map as well as newer CSGO tactics like sky smoking/flashing.

Alright, I made some before and after pictures. The "Before" pictures are from the version that I released (RC1) and the "After" pictures are from the latest version, that I updated today (RC5).

The angles I shot the pictures from aren't very sexy but they should do their job.

Hi, it's been a while since our latest post.
We took in count your feedbacks from the latest playtest.
We now have a similar layout with :
- more covers on the path of the bomb site A
- more covers on the path of the bomb site B
- the bomb site B has been moved a bit (in the subway)
- there is a new access to join the subway in the middle part
- there is a new access to access to the bomb site A (via a ladder)
- the map is brighter
The purpose of this post is to organize new playtests. A new version of the map will be available soon. As usual your feedbacks in any domains would be really appreciated. So if you have time, feel free to test our map and thank you in advance.
Here a visual update with new screenshots. A lot of props are still placeholder (still grey or in flat color), however I think that our actual version is close to a final result :

Alright, after countless hours of fooling around with the hammer editor and many playtests with you guys I finally gathered the confidence to publish my map in the Steam workshop!
I keep working on my map and a new version is going to come in the next days with further improvements.

Neat little trick .
I'm working on a soviet KM-1 ejection seat. It will be part of a small scene to be rendered in cry engine, once their pbr update is out. Scene will be a cockpit of a jet with crazy little details everywhere .

The most important thing to do before I release this is deciding on the way to keep score. Keeping the respawning in mind, score cannot be kept in the scoreboard and thus a sv_maxrounds has no effects on this gameplay mode at the moment.
Option 1: Update the team score on the towers, don't do anything with it untill server switches maps (by timeleft etc.).
Option 2: Update the team score on the towers, and set a hard limit in the map (meaning you cannot adjust it) after which the map switches to next in cycle.
Option 3: Don't work with the current deathmatch settings, keep the teamscore via the scoreboard and go by sv_maxrounds to decide when to end the cycle.
Basically, best of both worlds would be ideal, seeing as a winning team cannot be declared by the game if the teamscore is not updated on the scoreboard. I couldn't find a way to achieve this via the ('new') custom .cfg you can set for a map, but if anyone does, let me know.
Besides the gamemode, I've got to fix a few minor glitches before I'll release a playable version.
Any comments / suggestions are welcome!

I was late and only got a few rounds in but here are my thoughts:
- Do you prefer the new or old B site? Why?
I much prefer the new B site, the walkway that T have above the stairs into B balances things out a lot more imo. The only thing I would say is that around the actual site it feels a bit claustrophobic because of the pillars everywhere, like Dejavo said.
- Do you like the visual style?
Theme is good but needs polish from an artist.
- Was there any areas of the map you particularly liked/disliked?
Mid feels much better now, I like the new centre piece and I'm glad the plant pots have gone. The wall added to CT side stairs makes it a much more balanced choke point.
- How was the readability of the map? (Did you have trouble seeing enemies ever?)
The only thing was the pillars at B, I felt like my vision was really restricted until I was pretty much stood on the point. Overall it looks clean, light and is very easy to read.
- Did the map run well? (Were you lagging at all?)
Ran perfectly fine on my PC.
Not sure how much help any of that is but I enjoyed it and I'm looking forward to seeing it finished.

Update ***12/15/13***
Hey guys, thank you everyone who came to the playtest today. I've got some new screens of the most recent version. After the playtest I realized that B site is now more popular (yay!) to go to. This may be because I have been neglecting A site visually though. B site also seemed to have too much cover, so I will be taking out some of the pillars in the back and getting rid of the cubby that I had added previously. On the visual side of things, I need to go in and add cubemaps for my windows now and go through all my textures and add some normal maps. I will also begin optimizing it a lot more now.
I have a few questions:
- Do you prefer the new or old B site? Why?

Valve announced the work on two new maps, one is a de_cbble rework which looks promising and the other one is a completely new map, de_overpass, which is the very first map especially created for CS:GO by valve.
What does it mean for us? New texures, models and overlays! Whoah, so excited!
