I have quite a lot of classic games I'd never get rid of, original Monkey Island editions and such. I guess that makes me a bit of a hoarder but I can't bear to throw away the same games I was holding in my hands as a kid. I worked with someone who moved from Finland to the UK (and back again) and he had a company drive a truck of his shit both ways (using boats, etc where possible). It's a bit expensive obviously, but if you have a lot of stuff probably the only way.

Can't you stash it at your parents for the time being? Or someone else you trust?

I recently found my original Half-Life copy at my parents house, along with a few others like Fifa 99, Commandos Premier Collection, ... Good times

Sprony made a valid point, probably the best solution if you don't want to get rid of anything and can't/don't want to afford shipping it all over.
