Pretty happy with how this is coming along. Have some camera occlusion issues when you look at certain angles, with the water shader. I still have to do some parallax for it as well, but none the less, UE4 is great.

Im sorry you guys are having performance issues. I am enjoying the game at 60fps on my 980. Im not trying to say the problem does not exist, nor that its excusable by Bethesda for this to happen etc, but on a gameplay point of view, I do enjoy the game...

A digital turd plopped out of steam's servers and landed on my hard drive yesterday morning. The stench of a rushed PC launch and incompetency hangs in the air, sticking to the back of my throat like a tankard of whale-oil.
DISCLAIMER: I am the biggest fanboy of Dishonored and played through the first game so many times I even uploaded a "speed run" of one of the levels. NERD ALERT NERD ALERT HA HA!
Dishonored 2 is fucked. The performance took me by surprise when I stepped out onto the roofs of Dunwall and dropped down to 30fps.
"How odd" I proclaimed to myself as I took in the slideshow; maybe it's a new type of interactive storytelling like a 3d comic book or a gloryhole where instead of a penis poking through the hole an overly large turd is crammed through, squeezed and mushed out like play-dough, with an extra centimeter being exposed every second, at the apex of encounter when you think it can't possibly get worse a single straw is poked through the log by the pervert on the other side of the wall, you peer closer to see what's inside - wiping away the tears - and from the other side a tortured voice whispers:
"mouse smoothing"
Fuck me I feel like I am controlling a robot with narcolepsy. The mouse settings don't do shit except make it more annoying. The patch better change the text from "Sensitivity" to "Rage Meter".
So this morning I was looking around to see if there was something the PC plebs could do to actually be able to play the game, some kind of human sacrifice or similar, and I found an article that linked to a Bethesda site where they were apparently espousing their deep knowledge by encouraging you to reformat your PC and double check your asshole to make sure it's gaped wide enough for the thorough dicking you were about to receive.
I mean, I am guessing at this point because I couldn't reach the article, I accidentally, with my fat rage-filled fingers, pressed the Enter key before hitting the final number of my year of birth to pass the age gate, and their wonderfully coded website accepted that I was born in the year 198, and then refused to give me access to the site, apparently immortal demigods aren't welcome at the Bethesda webportal.
Well, go suck a turd through a gloryhole, Bethesda. Arkane can give you a reach-around.

Beautiful map as always. I have not gone in game to play it(sadly it will be with bots) yet, but the first and only thing I could mention is that the map is one sided. What I mean in that is its a north vs south kind of push. Obviously that can be said the same for most maps, like Dust II but I just feel that this is a tad more stream lined. Clearly it could play totally different than what im envisioning via screen shots, so take this with a grain of salt. Overall very visually pleasing map CatFood, great job!

I really dig this level's theme it has going. To me it reminds me of a cool hybrid of the remade Season by FMPone and Cache. I will definitely have to check this one out in game.

Forlorn - Bomb/Defuse

Forlorn is a bomb defuse map heavily inspired by old-school Half-Life and Opposing Force, a sort of homage to the Black Mesa Research Facility.
The theme is a freshly evacuated and dismantled military research facility that is mostly emptied by now but still in rather pristine condition. An anarchist group is preparing to raid the recently abandoned base to blast open some secure doors and loot available chemical and hazardous content.
Several Half-Life Easter eggs (visuals and sounds) are scattered around the map
The map supports 64 players (32 vs 32) and features FBI vs Anarchists . A manually-tuned nav file with place names is included for bot play.
Special thanks to Squad, RZL, Vaya, jackophant, Puddy, Bevielis, Terri, Andre Valera, Logic, General Vivi, Fnugz, tomm, and MaanMan for their feedback and playtesting, and a big shout-out to the mapcore community.

Strange stuff is happening on the Workshop lately. Map ratings suddenly dropping super low in a matter of minutes, going from 5 to 3 stars, etc. Seems like Forlorn is suffering from this as well

This time the pirates aren't planning on taking any hostages they just want to sink the damn vessel.

There's something off about the post process or lighting you use that makes my eyes want to implode. Too bright? Too much HDR? Too much fog? Combination of all maybe. I can't put my finger on it.
Couple of things I also noticed:
1. Those metal grate textures in front of the many ladders disappear at distance, which lead players to believe they can be used.
2. Many gaps between models across the whole map, which will be abused by snipers
3. Some weird clipping at back of B site.
4. Bombsite A rotating piece should have a lot more sides to it. Optimize somewhere else in that room!
5. Make it retard proof that those Black Doors are locked.

If you have brightness at max, the map feels foggy...
5: The black doors contrast to the map is too big, every player is drawn towards them like a fly to a lantern. In other words, they're too clean.
