  1. Pre-purchased Metro: Last Light
  2. Never read it, but perhaps I'll enjoy the film even more because of that. Looks like something I'll enjoy
  3. Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn - I really enjoyed watching this; I'm not huge into the Halo universe, so pretty much all of the context and backstory in the film were new to me. Going to see the new Iron man tonight, hopefully that's good as well.
  4. The game looks awesome! Glad to see a new IP in my favorite genre
  5. New rig: specs: i7-3770, 3.40 GHz, 8mb cache, LGA1155, 77W (quad core processor) GIGABYTE Z77-D3H motherboard Radeon HD 5770 16 GB RAM (2 Kingston 8GB sticks) 1 TB main drive Cooler Master GX 750W Bronze power supply i7-3770, 3.40 GHz, 8mb cache, LGA1155, 77W (quad core processor) GIGABYTE Z77-D3H motherboard Using my old vid card: Radeon HD 5770 Cooler Master GX 750W Bronze power supply 16 GB RAM (2 Kingston 8GB sticks) 1 TB main drive (haven't put my second drive in yet, but that is another 500 GB) Enermax Ostrog case Nothing fancy, but it'll get the job done. Planning on either a new vid card or a second for cross Fire.
  6. OooOoo, I really enjoyed Kingdom of Heaven way back when; it may be REALLY LONG, but it's also a fantastic watch. This is a film you should watch if you enjoy medievil / swords and shield kind of movies. Also, Firefly, again. Still... so... amazing!
  7. I actually enjoyed the rail part of HL1. It may have been slightly long winded, but not by too much imo.
  8. I'm going to grab this! So glad it finally got to see the daylight, even if it is only in the dim lit rooms of each respective player
  9. Marvin.Star

    The Hobbit

oOOoo, I didn't realize it had a release date yet Looking forward to this for sure!
  10. What are you trying to show you can do with your portfolio then? It's hard to help you when you haven't told us what you want to do with it.
  11. I saw it and loved it. One thought, I don't think its fair to try comparing this to the Dark Knight; because the two movies are practically different genres. The Dark Knight was very comic book-ish style and action heavy, humorous etc, while The Dark Knight Rises is simply a strong story telling movie with a fair bit of action. They did well to tie it into the previous films, and WOW the ending was great! Both great movies, different reasons. The first is excellent as well
  12. ^this I didn't read all of it, but I would probably listen to all of it
  13. People can come up with statistics to prove anything Rick, 14% of all people know that. lol - don't worry I got it Well, I can't blame anyone for wanting to have a reasonably stable job, and we all appreciate your making Battlefield games instead of flip-flops I'm sure. Its unfortunate that people aren't able/ willing to buy more new IPs, but I understand that reasonably well; I don't have a lot of money to spend on games - yet. Perhaps that is partially why I don't like yearly models, by the time the new one comes out I can probably only grab one full priced title for the next while and why would I want the exact same thing I already have?
  14. Horrifying... nuGhnn!*gasp*... gremlins.. nueaaagh!
  15. Yea I saw this trailer for it before Batman the other night. It looks like the trailers entire purpose was to say: "It has a good story, I swear!". I sincerely hope it turns out to be a good movie.
