Hey Guys, first year of school is closing in and since it´s been your fault i ended up studying @ DAE in Belgium, you deserve an update. It´s been a great time for me, improved so much on so many things, became a lot more productive and made some cool hitchhike experiences. picture time! Final Exam 3D - Vintage Car Final Exam Preproduction - floating Post Office Preproduction - Tower Vehicle Preproduction - Transform Shopping Center and some free analog works to stay healthy I´m one of the few who did good with Art and Programming. Obviously, just 3% of all students passed all courses for the first semester and I was one of them. Feels good.. and weird, the exams for this semester turned out a lot better, so I´m sure I´ll have no retakes again. Since I´m focusing a lot more on 2D right now and I miss a lot of people I´ll drop out for now, try to get some small jobs and start studying Illustration in Hamburg 2015. Really need to get away from computerz for a while. Cool thing is, i´ll always have the option to come back here and pick up 2nd year. Thank you Core for deep-lifechanging-experience

Thanks for the Feedback back then Sentura, i didnt wanted to revise it too drastic but i´ll try to avoid those problems for future work. I started this one on a long night drive in sweden, closest thing to a live painting i ever did.

quick texturetest, handsculpted and painted in mudbox. its a map for Pirates, Vikings & Knights II set in a giant stomach ^^. just Source displacements and one texture at this point.

Lot of useful stuff in here..thanks! I've applied for an internship at Deck13 and if that doesn't work out i've applied for a BA in Computervisualistic and Design in a regional german town. Plan C would be DAE in Belgium, really looks quite nice and not too expensive. I don't know why but i never heard of the Uni in Darmstadt until one week after the application process closed for this year:/ I was aware that i'd still rely on self teaching a lot, the main thing for me was the creative community and general city/student life instead of farmers and cow shit... not that i don't like the countryside but its not very supportive for an artistic education.

i like both of them cardo, that space building is nicely rendered and in general i like the lightning in those two. Only thing i dislike is the bluish fog in the desert.. besides the realistic issue of fog in the desert it doesn't match in. I'd recommend trying more detailed paintings, take your time and get yourself refs for every part of your painting. Todays blorange: 6-7 hours i think and it needs more contrast :/

I´m really depressed right now because this didnt worked out. Wanted to study Game Design in Germany and was pretty confident with my application.. but didn´t even got to the interviews. Would be awesome if someone knows a public/free institution that teaches similar stuff in the EU, where you can start in Summer. Didn´t got any feedback for this stuff yet so i´ll just dump some here. First comes a short Introcomic for my setting a crosscut for that building the facilitys logo I was always interested in mapping for NS2 and as my setting fitted NS2´s i decided to use Spark to show my Level Design experience i first worked on a playable greybox for ns2 then tested it and made a map paintover for changes to be made Also detailed out one area
