I tried some fog in the map but found this to be the best setting, there is actually some fog but only in the 3d skybox and very thin. I actually dont like very much the fog effect in source, because you can see the plan were it starts as you move and turn,so it doesnt look so natural. But maybe Im missing some trick here, I didnt spend much time trying and learning the fog settings. I considered putting a thicker fog in the dawn version as it would give the feeling of a foggy morning, I should´ve spent more time trying different fog settings. A custom skybox with distant mountains was also something I was thinking to improve the depth, but I found out its not such an easy thing to do. Thanks for your feedback!

Hi, just to inform, the first version had a crashing issue with some people. Its fixed now, so you will find beta2 version in the same link.

This is my latest favela map, this one set in the city of Rio de Janeiro. It is not a remake of my previous favela maps, nor has anything to do with cs_rio, its a totally new map. One of the most unique features of this map is the 3d skybox which portraits with fidelity the topography of the city. I also had special care with the layout for the gameplay. It is however a very big map, so it plays better with at least 20 players and should ve very fun with 40+ players. Despite the long distance sights, the fps is good throughout the map. This beta version lacks some detailing and some parts are not well resolved, on which I intend to work for the final version. The map plays songs which are not embedded into the bsp, see instructions in the readme file or in the signature room inside the map for songs installation. Have fun and please give me your feedback.
