I was only talking about the Hazard Zone game mode. I still think have the same specialists on both teams in any other mode is rediculous. Apparently, there is going to be a lot of customisation, and some people are saying this will help players differentiate people, but unless EA/DICE force different teams to have different colours/skins it's not going to help at all. You could still have the same characters looking the same on both teams. A colour change in itself isn't ideal either as the silhouettes of those characters will be the same on both teams too.
I just meant this same situation never bothered me on other games where you have small teams sharing the same characters. BR games PUBG, Apex, COD and other shooters like Tarkov.

Over the summer I started watching Star Trek. I used to be a massive Star Wars-fan and never really got into Star Trek. I had watched the modern (JJ abrams-)movies but they didn't really hit me any significant way and basically just seemed like action scifi movies.
I later got to watching some individual The Next Generation episodes, based on whatever turned up in "best of"-google searches I did. Once I had went through a couple of those I watched through Discovery and then Picard (both new, modern, series).
However, it wasn't until I started watching Deep Space Nine that I really started loving it. Admittedly it looks like fucking shit; desaturated and depressing, most likely caused by the technicalities of transitioning to modern media formats. Once I got past that I was consistently served with really good plots, character development and dialogue. I'm at S3 currently and loving it. It speaks to the skills of the writers that I went from immediately despising Quark, to absolutely loving him.  My favorite episode so far is "Duet" from season 1

@ThunderKeil you're in college? You're a young buck, you got all the time in the world to pursue LD, and YOU CAN DO IT. I was 29 when I decided I needed to make the switch. Did my 9 to 5 and worked on my portfolio in the evenings and at night. Took 2-3 years to land the job. Yeah it messed up my marriage, but I'm loving where I'm at in life right now. You just need to put the grind in, do your research on what it is that makes some portfolios stand out. Best of luck.

KUNG FURY is an over-the-top action comedy written and directed by David Sandberg. The movie features: arcade-robots, dinosaurs, nazis, vikings, norse gods, mutants and a super kung fu-cop called Kung Fury, all wrapped up in an 80s style action packed adventure.

isn't this what he's arguing against here? he wants it on all platforms, not just one. if it was origin exclusive it would be exactly like putting all your eggs in one basket

If you actually think about this. It's pretty odd. The kickstarter backers took all the risk and own nothing in the company, merely a piece of hardware when its done and these people that come in years later to invest are basically working off the back of that.

Wachowski's are back. I'm not watching that trailer, it's enough for me to know it's a sci-fi and it's being made by the Wachowski bros, but here it is! Can't wait!

They always hire some random person to host VGX, typically Hollywood stars, resulting in really awkward moments. It's even weirder when they constantly crack jokes about Pac-man and Mario, which were painfully obvious it was the last games they've played.

This year they hired a even worse host, no one knows who he is, he cracked horrible jokes about drugs and being drunk, and needing to be high to make games, game developers need to sell a kidney to afford a flight to LA to come to this thing, between many other cringe-worthy "jokes". Seriously, this was painful to watch and this shit needs to end.

That said, geoff keighley was actually very professional and you can tell he loves games.

I was at blizzcon and was able to line up with 9 other people and play 2 games of in house 5v5. The big differences from the other mobas are as follows: XP is team shared - everyone is the same level on a team. There are no items - everything is based around the skill build you choose. At certain levels (1,3,6? I cant remember) you get the option to choose 1 of 3 upgrades. For example, you may be able to choose to have 15% stronger heals or 15% stronger damage. The entire game is based around 5v5 team fights and map objectives. No one is off fucking around with neutral creep mobs in the jungle. Its a refreshing look at the genre.

Hey guys. Been working on a project for a little while and decided to bring up the Indie DB page. It's basically the mix between Gone Home's environmental storytelling with a Phillip K. Dick/Blade Runner narrative.

Still pretty early, but I'm hoping to get a video and a public/private testing build (basically, open to people who want to actively play test it here on Mapcore and a few other places) up in the next week or so.
