Nice to hear it is just this small bug/setting that messed up the map, was afraid it lagged because of it's size. I'm available tomorrow evening for playtesting, looking forward to play insertion and docks. Only not sure if my blockmap is ready for another round. I'm still editing the map based on the feedback it got. Wich was very usefull btw, thanks guys!

Thanks for the feedback, its meant to be a "super secret" cyborg factory from the 80s that is being reopend, ofcourse the terrorists dont like this and want to blow the place up as usual. for the props in the map I used 80s computers, factories and 80s toys as reference but since all the machines and computers are made up I might have added a bit too much scfi flavor to it.

Hi, I want to show you guys the progress I made on crossfire. I played around with the lighting a bit and also did some work on the mountains, but I still need to put some more time in them. Also it seems Minos and Psy where both right about adding more fog and decreasing overall saturation, thanks Update: feedback please!

thanks for the comments! yes Pampers your right, the 3dskybox including the mountains still needs a lot of work, i will also try adding more fog to see how it works out. About decreasing saturation, i was about to add a crane that is either orange or yellow and all doors in the map are half orange/red now i did pretty much the oppostie haha, but when i add colorcorrecion to the map i will try to push back saturation to see how it looks!

Hello again, this is the map im currently working on. A couple of months ago i put it on hold because of a map (de_cheesefire) i wanted to make for a contest. After that i entered another contest for wich i made de_reef so this map has been a sleep for a while. During the building process of the other two maps we kept playing crossfire on the catfood server so it already has quite a lot of playtesting hours in it. It is still far from finished, there are still lots of place holders and dev textures but i hope it already gives some impression of how the final version will look like. hello im back to show off my latest csgo level, i have been working on this map for 2,5 months. i made lots of custom content for the map and Hunsrus made the custom sounds/soundscapes. Hi guys, ive build this map for the GameBanana Ratmap competition. Today the winners were announced and im happy to say this map made it first place! The setting of the map is a "small" ship yard where the terrorists have to destroy either the other ship (bombsite A) or the building plans (bombsite B). Ofcourse the counter-terrorists will have to try to prevent this. the map contains a lot of custom material, as well as a working cable car between the two ships! Thanks for the feedback, i think your right about the lights, i tried to keep the visual noise as low as possible, the most visual noise is on the ceilings and not at player height.

thx a lot for the help i tried google'ing for INDUSTRIAL SCI-FI and i found a lot Doom3 style stuff, i think Guerilla (killzone2) uses a lot of Torn japanese cities for reference... but google'ing for that wont give much result
