Looks nice, for lava that's flowing vertically, please stretch the texture by a factor of 2-4 times, those single pixel flows look way too noisy.

I'm in the planning stage of a project larger than I've ever attempted before, a project on a scale that requires a hefty amount of planning. The thing is I've never done anywhere near as much planning for a previous project as this one needs, not even one tenth and probably closer to one hundredth. My problem at the moment seems to be fatigue: I can get on and do up to an hour of good planning but then that's me basically spent for the rest of the day, no more productivity coming out of me. It's really annoying me how slow going it is. There is also a growing feeling of not doing anything and I've noticed that at times in the past when I'm not doing anything for weeks I get very down. How do you combat planning fatigue, and what are your techniques for getting lots of planning done in a day?

Officially yes but you can still load content from other games by just copying it into a new mod folder in the SFM directories (same way you load custom tf2 maps). Only tf2 characters have phonemes though so facial animation would be a bitch and game entities may well not work at all

Starting a series of map flythroughs so I can edit all the videos together into a demo-reel for my portfolio. Unfortunately it crashes when I try to use custom sounds so I've had to use existing TF music. Also screwy cubemaps are a thing.

Sweeeeeet my new MoBo will be just in time. I can't wait to use a computer with a decent monitor (not super-ultra-mega dark) so I can admire this in all it's beauty!

I always thought that particular la roux remix sounded exactly some of the original mass effect music, every time for the first 10-15 times I heard it I had to do a double take because I don't have any mass effect music on my computer. Funnyjunk, no; the oatmeal, yes. I think this whole thing is pretty crazy, websites like funny junk or 9gag thrive of the reposting of others works usually without credit and always without consent. I hope this goes royally tits up for both that lawyer and funnyjunk, for a multitude of reasons, both are terrible. (That is not to say I like Matthew inman at all, he acts like a total douchebag but does at least happen to be an innocent Vic I'm here)
