  2. i have soma ideas for some abstract maps for this mod but my bigest problem is that im bad with textures. i spen a lot of time searching for textures that can be combined and look good on the map. i actualy thought of making a map like that but first i wanted to finish this one. on topic: ive look in some map from fpsbanana and i got some ideas like making something like a sattelite (antena) an put it on 2 or 3 roofs and maibe a truck on the snow, so if you can think of some more details for the map plz post. tnx
  3. i know that the maps look like sh** compaired with the work that i've seen here but i post them because i wanna know if i'm on the right track. the first map is made about 2 years ago but after that map ive stoped mapping and i re-engage in cs mapping about 6 months ago (plus i didnt map constantly). so as you can see i don't have that much experience and every thing that i leard to do in hammer ive learnd it myself. sorry if i offended anyone here and if you think this thread is a disgrace for this forum u can delete it. i don't mind. but i have a some question: is this forum only for experts?? if not where can i post if am a newbie at mapping?? if its only for experts, can i post from time to time some maps to see if my mapping skills advanced?? where can i learn to map like u guys?? how long did it tooked you to be very good at mapping (from the basic room like me to the amazing work that ive saw here)?? and much more questions but i shoud probably start a thread with these questions in offtopic. the reason ive join this community is because ive wanna lear how to map like you guys. and buy the way hessi, your words inspired me. they made me realize that i dont know sh** about mapping and i have to work hard if i want to map like you guys.
  4. hello again, i know that cs is oldschool here but i want so show you my cs maps because i want to know you opinion on them. i want to know if these are good\mediu\bad\ugly\nice\... maps. this is my first released map (xs_aim_map_deluxe). ive made it about 2 years ago. its simple and it has a very good gameplay: xs_aim_map_deluxe my second release was kzro_smalltemple made for the kz mod. in this map you have to jump your way up from the start point to the end point of the map: kzro_smalltemple my next map was fy_snow_pRO. i made this map because i got tired of the old snow map. i've only changed the textures, the sky and the weapons arrangement: fy_snow_pRO next ive tried to make something different. in ka_perfection_yard you can kill your enemy only with a headshot or a backstab: ka_perfection_yard next its my funniest map that ive made (awp_poker). the texture were made by me (exept the cards and the card deck witch ive found on the net): awp_poker and my last map (aim_platforms_classic) it very simple but has a very pro gameplay. i saw a match between 2 clans on this map and it was amazing: aim_platforms_classic any feedback (good or bad) is better then no feedback so plz feel free to say anything regarding to these maps
  5. hns addon is all about stair, it's kinda hard to explain how hns is played but these are the simple rules: terro must survive the round by hideing or running from ct and ct must kill terro. terro dont have any weapons, but instead they have grenades (flash and smoke) and ct only have knife. if all the terorist are killed or die in a round, the teams are swiched (ct became terro and terro became ct). i know this is not a very good desription. try to watch these movies to understand the gameplay of hns mod: if u observ, in hns map it's all about high building and lots of ladders thats why i have long buiding and many ladder. tha reason that i made square buiding is because if u make skewed walls the players can make "wallbug". watch this if u want so see what a wallbug is
  6. hello world i started a while ago a map for hns (hide and seek) for counter strike. i've build 75% of the map and i've stoped because i didn't have any ideeas on how to make the details of the map. yesterday i decided to try and finish the map but once again i don't have ideas for the detail of the map. so plz if u can think of anything that could make the map nicer plz share it. here are some pictures (thise are from hammer so there is no atmosphere): and one more thing. plz tell me your opinion on the map. "any crits/pointers/tips/suggestions will be taken seriously."
