This is a great chance to prove your skills and get in to the Games Industry with two of the best studios in the business. DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES TO DESIGN GREAT SINGLE PLAYER LEVELS ?? You must be able to give examples of your very best level design work for this role. We are currently looking for an experienced Single or multi-player Level Designer for our latest action title, currently in development for next gen consoles. The successful applicant will work within a team to create levels for AAA, next generation action titles. You will develop levels and missions according to the global game design and use defined mechanics to create exciting and entertaining single player levels. You will work closely with the lead level designer and other level designers on development of the game design, and toolset. As an applicant, you should be able to demonstrate the following skills: Proven ability to design and create engaging gaming experiences (preferably a 1st/3rd person shooter) 3D modelling skills (Maya an advantage) Experience with gameplay editor packages such as Hammer, Radiant, etc Able to work within a team. Able to work under pressure and to deadlines. A passionate for video games Commitment to both the product and the team. Good communicative skills are essential Enthusiasm; a real love for the work. Talent - this is far more important than qualifications for us! Things we need to see... Must have 2 or more years experience in a similar position and shipped at least one 1st/3rd person title in a design or level designer position An honest CV, and a good demo or samples of work if you have them, and a clear description of your work in published games Things we like to see...
