  1. Very nice, as the others said. I too think bottom part a bit too clean.

    Btw I noticed the ladder, modeling it like this changes the way players will climb on top, the one here for eg, in the official maps you climb on the side facing the wall as far as I can remember.

    But if requested...

    Yeah, already changed that for the map version that's in the workshop, looks better now.

    I think volcano wanted the map to play more like the version in 1.6, so .... boxy bogies and ladders in the back :D

  2. This game is weird, the more I see the less impressed I am. :oops: Is it just me or are the graphics getting less compelling too? When first unveiled it looked truly next-gen, now... not so much. Maybe it's just because I've been watching so many incredible-looking next-gen videos.

    Someone with the same thoughts :oops:

  3. mh, is it the style of the texture?, or the type of wagon? Now I'm not sure anymore too :D.

     

    I was told that the bogies had to be kinda boxy and that you can't look through them at any point for gameplay. But yeah, I guess it's too much, could try to break it up a bit more while keeping the silhouette.

  4. I had all my management and team organization lectures from their COO and he's a fantastic teacher and gave us students at the time a pretty good reality check. sucks to see them go down like this :(

     

    Yeah, I hope Boris is alright. That's a pretty big hit for the whole area here.

    Working on that university project:

    Basically trying to create a really small set of assets with which I can build environments very quickly.

    With the terrain tools of unity I can just paint in the spikes, the alien plants (that look like jelly fishes) and all that stuff :). (Hope it's not to dark on other monitors)
