    Here's a very early work in progres shot of some assets I'm making for CS:GO. My intention is to build a bunch of decent, modular, urban models that can be used to quickly detail urban environments. I intend to release a map and the assets stand alone for others to use.

    Well unit in Hammer are not on the classic metric system so maybe you have to find the right ones. Never worked on source and max at the same time so can't really tell.

    The DXF export works like it did in the past. Is your geometry far from the origin maybe? In my experience it works best if you copy just the brushes you need into an empty file and export from there.
     
    That's not helpful at all.

    You can convert a map into an .obj with crafty.
    I used this to make one model inside blender. Maybe this will help you aswell.

    Reminds me of the 1.6 map de_downtown by Dr.Dk and Backslider. Looks great, I like all the building signage.

    Level design looks solid and nice monochromatic navigation scheme. I'll check it out ingame tomorrow.
