  1. a grayish fog is already in there you fool (2nd picture, light gray in the background ) i only have to tweak the hdr settings. And well no photoshop work in here, scaled down 100% screenshots.

  3. a (for me) 2 Day Contest. The theme is a mine without restriction of any kind. 9hrs of work.
  4. the blueish lighting reminds me of Mirror's Edge. Very cool Map with a lot of high quality details (Models, Textures, Shader). Only a few things like the ladder or the washing machine are standard content. GOOD!! but i think you could add more next-gen textures on the whole environment. Some parts could be rebuilt with the good old gold-src engine without a different. And sorry if i didn't read the whole linked article.
  5. you can find the l4d materials in the pak01_dir.vpk in the common/left 4 dead/left4dead/ folder. one example. basic world Pipemodels: v_model Medkit: and the m16 so as you see valve used only generic normalmaps for the phong effect. simple eh?
  6. thats how valve did in left 4 dead. there is a standard normal texture for phong 64*64px.
  7. I used a free 3d panorama tool that converts round about 30 screenshots in this wonderfull view. It's called Microsoft ICE. @all, thx for your feedback.

  14. fy_2fort is a completely rebuilt version of ctf_2fort (Team-Fortress 2) for Counter-Strike Source with more details, color correction, env sounds and well. More or less good frames. all files are included. Custom Textures and some adjusted modelskins.   15. The 2 screenshots look like the one structure in halo1 on the middle of the small island. Looks nice!
  16. what lamp you mean? those nearby the roof of the building? they are not lowpoly, he only has low settings.
  17. i made 40 screenshots ingame without the hur (sv_cheats 1; r_drawviewhud 0 (or something like that). after this step is used a very small but good program called autostitch. http://www.cs.ubc.ca/%7Embrown/autostit ... titch.html cause the uv of the falk is horrible (not made by me) i need to uvwarp the whole thing again...

  20. what is with a demo? source tv demo or something? everything is loged in it, (the way,where everyone died, ...) and so on.
