Так вот, раз и навсегда разьяснению цель моего визита на ваш замечательный форум.
Оригинальный первоапрельский пост камрада michi.de, который я по своему скромному мнению не считаю за образец юмора, разлетелся через информ агентства инета за считанные дни, благо дерзость его заявления вкупе со скандальностью, этому способствует.
Вот и до меня он дошел. Решил продолжить благое начинание и заделать кавер на оригинал, дабы продлить отжиг до своего апоггея =) Последовавшие риплаи никак не вписываются в мое видение общения. У вас так принято: называть незнакомых людей идиотами при первой встрече, или это я отстал от времени и не понимаю остроты комментов?
Однако, не такой я ранимый что бы обижаться на проявление идиотии со стороны явно закомплексованных личностей. Я даже при беглом знакомстве с самоидентифирующими образами членов вашего комунити уже выявил 2х параноиков, 3х шизофреников и одного (прости Будда) капрофилла =/

Мой пересказ биографии Григоровича - продолжение аллюзии на тему злобного пиратства GSC.
Остальное - в меру циничный "диалог с пользователями".
Да, я не владею английским в достаточной мере, этот свой недостаток я признаю. Но, на мой взгляд, даже моего убого инглиша вполне хватило для передачи лейтмотива. Ответная реакция, по меньшей мере заставляет усомниться в адекватности восприятия участников дискусса.
Очень надеюсь, что кто-нибудь найдет время перевести мою телегу на интернациональный. Засим, откланиваюсь.
P.S. Бабник - не самое страшное оскорбление. Это, в своем роде, комплимент

1) Why S.T.A.L.K.E.R. delayed in release?
Simple. Unstable political situation plus problem with sharing income for THQ (World wide Publisher ). Not because we, evil and lazy ivans benchmarking poor little ID or Valve.
2) Why x-ray engines content such similiar as Carmak engine?

In early 90th Sergei with brother was an ordinary students of MNTU (Міжнародний науково-технічний університет ukr. or International Science-Techological Universitet in engl.) in Kiev. They considered as most talent and hardworking students, so guys have a good student-pansion payment, lot of time and clever brains. Also they likes computers and computer games. But in that time no one dealing localization whis such Hits like DukeNukem 3d, Warcraft 2, Blood etc. Just becouse =)One day, Sergei Grigirovich bored and thought in moment "MuthaFucka! I can grab a millions only in one piracy of games and make an interesting, useful thing. Now, i need just a microphone, HEXeditor and shmat of my smartest grey matter!" Or something like that :roll:
And he did what plans, and named all of this simple and geniusly - GSC Game World. He became a famous uncatchable shadow-translator in very very short time in whole territory of post-soviet land. People, consumers of unleagal copies CGs, appreciated him for that, because he and his small group of adherents tooks gamers-happy up to people for funny money.
But, becoming a rich this way not so easy. Popular? Maybe, but not rich =) However Sergei still dreams to grab with shovel a millions of cash.
So the world has got acquainted with first serious project of GSC team Warcraft 2000 - total conversion of original Warcraft 2 BattleNet Edition. It Extended as shareware of charge, naturally without everyone it is conducted Blizzard -) If you search hardly, you still can find copy of that and all others early GSC's games
Unfortunatly game has low popularity among gamers and not justified assigned hopes... However, our heroes don't surrender. Niether. they Have found some money and bought licence of game-devs.
Historical RTS "Cossacks" from newed GSC's suddenly flyed in tops of game-rates in Euro and Russia. Thats was a first swallow of coming Success :wink:

As i just posted in a doom3 related forum.
I browsed the stalker .db" files with this new extract tool which is around.
I saw that they are using doom3 lightimages.
for the people which own both games can compare the "lights" folders.
I'm wondering if the russian guys got the permission for using them.
As a hobbyist i think its not that fair. If i'm using textures from another game without having the big money in mind i will get mails from a lawer or someting like that. even if i only want to do a cool level.

I browsed the quake I .pak files with winrar.
I saw that they are using texture of shotgun from Chasm: The Rift
for the people which own pale of brains can found it easily!
I'm wondering if the canadian guys got the permission for using them.
As a therapist, i think its not that fair. If i'm using textures from
