I've tried to play the 2nd part, even after all the patches it was so broken... I even bought a new gfx card to handle the uber-graphics and still it looked like bad optimized console game...
Hope to see the 3rd part way better!

Damn, I hope your choices will turn out fine, I'm not an expert but I had similar problem not long ago and did some research
BTW check some articles about comparing same cards by different brands. Sometimes you can get more FPS with Asus equipment then other (only example!).

You could get 660Ti, it's a powerful card yet not so expensive but with your plans classic 660 would also do the job. If you're a console gamer then 660 will be enough good I guess...

Maybe wait a bit to get 760 a bit cheaper. You'll be 100% sure that you have a next-gen cheap card on board!

660 is cheaper and still it's a next-gen ready card. I you want to buy a card that should be great in next few years then get a 760 or 660Ti but 760 is newer and with all the latest technology junks included.
