Hey folks, I am here to present an UDK-Mod called "Crushing Gods". We want to create an ego-shooter-type multiplayergame, but without the common fire arms. Instead the players will take care of some magicians and as those will carry out their battles by casting different spells. These spells can do some damage or also can have some "tactical" effects like disguising or moving things without touching them etc. I do not want to describe all the features here, you can find everything on our homepage. But let me show you some media: Early concept of some gangways. Little compilation to show new content. Early posing attempts. As I already told, you can find much more information on our homepage, there is a pretty extensive documentation of the game features on http://www.crushing-gods.de . And this is, where the problems might start. As you will see, it is all written in german ! Thats because we are a german team of developers and have not made our contents "international" yet (which does not mean, you as a foreigner have no chance to help: see below.), but are searching for members nevertheless. Unfortunately we have not so much actual ingame content to show off yet as we are not that many developers and have to create nearly everything from scratch! So we need everyone who feels comfortable in field of 2d/3d-design, coding, concepting or sound-creating and is motivated to keep focusing on finishing a rather complex product. So if here is someone who speaks german and wants to join, just contact us! We are looking forward to your application! Further information for application will be provided here. But I also want to speak to the non-german artists here! As you might know, the UnrealEngine is pretty much based on polymeshes which of course brings a big demand of dedicated props which (of course) brings the need of many prop modelers! So we are also looking for people which maybe do not want to join our team but want to support our work with just some props or as well some texture work or whatever you like. As we are working non-commercially we can just offer an entry in the credits and access to out "beta forums" in which there is some "half-public" discussion of rather unpublished contents to reward you work. Sadly we have no time to translate the whole homepage into english, it is just to much for to less people. But of course we are capable of the english language, so the communication will not be a problem, and we will gladly explain you everything about the project you want to know . Please feel free to ask everything. So, if someone of you is interested, just let me know. And if you have any suggestions and critics - give it to us!

Hi Robert. At first - I`m sorry, I can`t really help you because I`m neither a coder nor a concept painter... But I really like your project, the pics are awesome! I`ve never seen such great displacementwork in source-engine! So I really hope that you can find people matching your level to continue the mod. Keep feeding us with new screenshots Greetz, Josch

Do me a favour and please do NOT just mirror the map in any aspects. Its totally ok to build a tf2-map with mirrored layout - actually I like this. But I hate it if you can find any prop at the red base exactly at the same place in the right base. You don`t have much details so far so please don`t start to build just one half, copy and paste it and just change some textures... Build the map as a whole object, every single area for itself. This will make the map muuuuuuuch better in my opinion^^

Hey, cool! I really like the atmosphere with the guitar music from the ipod and those ambient-sounds. The game itself is more interesting than challenging but this is really ok ^^ I actually didn`t know that much facts about what these pictures at the night-sky mean. And the "ending" of the map was pretty cool too! Keep on building more of these inovative maps. Really liked it

Interesting name. Did you thought about that borax? Map looks nice, I`ll download it in a few days, currently I`m travelling around...

Astonishing! Looks really amazing, great job!

@Synthesizer: Looks really cool I like the dispacement work! Although, the indoor area is a bit too empty in my opinion... I also would prefer a "real" map, not just an arena-type, but this is your decision. Stay tuned!

Looks cool. But what about this: Do you think this would worl in real world? No, dont worry, I`m just kidding If I could`ve imagined what a discussion I started.... Whohoo Go on with your map as you want and like. I trust your researches and I won`t complain any further unnecessary details

I want to see you building a pyramid upsidedown in war with many bombs exploding and massive eruptions shaking the earth But to be honest, thats not the point. I`ll just quote Acapulco: It just doesnt looks like anything I would expect there...

Incredible! But Albatros, are you sure, that construction wont collapse within a few seconds?^^

Oha, its for the source-engine... Looks like cs1.6 ore something like this Add more Details, its a good start!

Wow Looks really incredible. Very authentic. Just the little trafo-houses in picture three are looking as if they were made of plastic Is there any possibility that we could see a video of this masterpiece in any far future?

Cool, congratz
