  1. I built mine last year for crysis:

    corsair hx520 powersupply

    asus p5n32-e mobo

    core2duo e6600 @ 2.4ghz

    geil 2gb ddr2 800

    eVGA 8800GTS 640mb

    2x 320gb HDs

    Acer 22" widescreen lcd

    Windows XP Media Center 32-bit

I have a watercooling setup that I used for my last pc, but I dont have the lga775 mounting hardware for the waterblock. Once I get around to getting them I'm probably going to overclock.

I'm also going to move to a Raid-1 setup once I finally decide to go vista 64-bit.

I hope this pc lasts me awhile, I've got plenty of stuff to upgrade already.

  2. I sense a Red Dead Revolver reference in these shots with the rifle on the back and the dog. If it's just me I'll shut up.

it's a mad max/boy and his dog reference methinks.

  3. All free radical had to do was release another time splitters with a good online component and it would've been the best console fps ever.

The first time I saw videos of this game awhile back all that I could think of was "meh". I don't plan on bothering with it. It's a shame though. I don't know how this happened given Free Radical's track record.

  4. I've never really seen such rampant fanboyism before Fallout 3 was announced. Reading the nma-fallout forums is hilarious yet sickening at the same time. Those guys need a new hobby.

I'm just as big a fallout fan as anybody but geez, get over it.

  5. I agree with what everyone has said so far, however. My biggest gripe is the auto-trageting system. It almost makes me wish I had waited to just get the PC version so I wouldn't have to worry about it.

The auto-save thing really pissed me off, too. I had to restart the last mission about 10 times(getting to the very end everytime I might add) and by the time I finally beat it I was so pissed at the game I wasn't even happy or relieved that it was over, I just turned the damn thing off and walked away.

  6. You can't buy properties in GTAIV? :???::?:(

The major drawback is it's just a matter of luck now to get the Infernus, as you'll have to go looking for one now, and there is no sure way of getting one too.

Here's a tip: Call brucie for a race, go to the location and drive near the starting marker ( but not on it!)

Step 1. Run up to an Infernus in the line

    Step 2. Shoot driver

    Step 3. ???

    Step 4. Profit

    :D

  7. I played goldrush for about 3 hours straight last night, however, half the time I was pissed off.

I'm kinda pissed at valve for releasing stuff like this bit for bit because then all anyone does is masturbate to the new content for 20 mins, blow their load, and then just drop the game completely.

I couldn't even play half the time because my whole team were nothing but medics while I'm the only normal class and the people on the other team just destroy us everytime. No matter what server I was on it seemed like this was the case.

There were a few instances where everyone was playing like they were supposed to and it was a blast.

I wish the achievement whores would just die in a fire, then the game would be great.

  8. It will be interesting to see how it plays out. Interplay still is not much more than herve caen and a few other people, they are subleasing half of the office that they are leasing right now if that gives you any indication. Unless they get a huge infusion of investment capital very soon I don't see them going anywhere.

I'm skeptical and not very optimistic about interplay, but I hope it does turn out well.

  9. I'm playing fallout 2 right now. I bought it like 4 years ago and tried to start it multiple times, but never got very far and finally motivated myself to follow through with it( probably because i've been reading so much about fallout 3.) IMO it's better than fallout 1.
