  13. Haha, no. We don't use other models from other mods, and I have never actually witnessed that to be honest, those media shots are very old as well by the way. Remember too, that an accurately modelled weapon would probably look the same in different games even if they are the same model. They may have a different skin and the modellers little touch to it. I am not saying this model is accurately modelled though because I am no model/gun expert.
  14. VERY much different. First off INS has like 10 on 10 min in a PUB. Everyone is everywhere, its a very much more OPEN MAP. Kind of chaotic and gets dull of just running into blind fire respawning to capture objectives. Hostile Intent is capture objective too, but not like the push mode in INS. In traditional Hostile Intent for Half-life, Nato would push through a series of usually linear routes toward an objective and hit the "use" button to capture it, while you capture it it goes like "OBtaining DOcuments X.X seconds left", and the tangos would have to CAMP their objectives(until 1.6 then the tangos had objective taking maps too). I have been playing Hostile Intent for about 4 years now, and I am insistent that it'll have the old feel to it with the ability to play tactical but run when needed.. You HAVE to use iron sights in order to shoot which forces people to slow down a bit, I mean I and others can still play fast but it makes kids camping their objective and playing slow have a bigger advantage over me. The best thing about Hostile Intent and the camping team is the ability to impliment camping strats that actually work, in COD4 and INS you can jump over people and kill them even though the other guy saw you first. A camping man has the advantage over some guy just running around not using his head to play. Don't get me wrong though the game is really fun even if you aren't all serious about it.
  15. The mod also uses SVN and Trac, and has a very experienced programming team.
