Some governments would definitely have the balls to push it that far, the way China dealt with the virus in the beginning wasn't very diferent. They had the army patrolling the streets, they installed speakers on the sidewalks broadcasting messages about mandatory quarantine, drones flying around making sure the streets are empty, etc. It was very draconian. Now... you can't argue with the fact that it seems to have worked, assuming you trust the data they put out, right? If they installed speakers telling people what to do anywhere in the US, a shotgun would pop it to smithereens in minutes. We'll see what will happen, if you ask me, I can see some private companies here in the US having mandatory covid immunization for their employees. It's not that farfetched, most schools out here both private and public need to have proof of vaccination for you to put your kids in them, so it happens already. The problem with that comparison is that those vaccines you give your kids have been around for decades, this vaccine is brand new. Am I really to trust it based on blind faith? It's a hard sell.

lol... them physics! I think I posted this in this thread in the past, but I also recorded some impressive videos back when I played it on the PS4. I can't wait to get my hands on a 3090 and replay this with raytracing, the SSR on the PS4 were grainy and distracting on shinier surfaces.

Yeah, really. The last 8 years of footage was "controlled" footage, they were careful not to reveal too much, as to not spoil the initial impact of the game, while still obviously hyping the product. Reviewers on the other hand, even when they label them "spoiler free", they often mention stuff that's better experienced by yourself, coming in fresh.

Aparently there's a 40gb day 1 patch, that these reviewers didn't have access to. I refuse to click any reviews right now, I just wanna play the game free of any bias or expectation.

Dude, this looks so good.

Thanks for the confidence! This project means a lot to me, so it'll get done. That's all 3D yeah, including the backdrop elements like Jupiter. I haven't touched the post process parameters in a while, so it's the same as the old footage. But I can see how the colder atmosphere tints everything of blue and it naturally mutes the colors a little bit. I might tweak it a little bit later, this level is special as you mostly fly above the clouds, so blue and white should be the primary values. Should symbolize hope and ascension.

yo! It's going well albeit a bit slow since it's a part-time venture, I've got a tiny team of guys helping out here and there particularly player locomotion and programming. I am not interested in being one of those indies that posts GIF's every day to gather a following, I find social media very distracting so I'd rather spend my time working on this, then when it's done, it's done.... I'll probably hit the socials a bit harder once it's close to release. That said, we're working to get something released for early 2021, a fully playable slice of the game. I'll share some more as soon as I can. Btw, a little while ago, I released another small teaser, you can check it out here: But here's something just for mapcore!

I'm glad a European company is making this, and not a US or Canadian studio. I just know they'd plaster the game with modern bullshit and forget that video games shine best when they're made for escapism. Last few years IOI have been killing it, and working with a new IP will be refreshing for those guys, and Bond is the perfect fit

I think at this point we morphed into 33% mapping, 33% gaming discussion and 33% just a small bunch of online friends talking shit. I'll take it, better than Twitter.

One of my favorite games of the last generation. I've downloaded it again on the game pass, will try and get it to run on VR. ahah

Looking good! I worry a little about theme variety, it'll be hard to play an entire game within that one theme, as impressive as it is. We'll see.
