  1. Once valve releases a non-vr game on Source2, you'll see how amazing that editor is, it's legit the best editor i've ever used.

It depends what it'll come attached with tho, if it's a CS-Scr2 release you'll be limited to what you can do with it.

  2. Modern-day Miami could be interesting, but something tells me they're probably going back to the past again. The 80's theme of Vice City was likely the thing that people connected the most.

I think London could be great, it's the melting pot hub of europe, so much to grab and have some fun there. Maybe they can do the 90's this time around? I wanna storm inside a gritty underground club blasting europop music as this guy

I was really curious about all of the consolidation of the industry, so I did some googling. Honestly it does not seem like the best or healthiest sign, I don't know enough about economics to say what consolidation says about an overall industry, some of the articles said it pointed to decline, but maybe innovations like VR will shake things up in the future and introduce some more competition.

I'm actually curious to see a list of benefits about industry consolidation, I'm sure they're there nothing is ever 100% bad but I'd like to counter balance to the obvious negative points that come with it.

You'll unfortunately have to settle with the two latest entries. A bit strange that they won't bring the first 3 as well now that they're at it.

They'd need to bring the first 3 to the same engine as U4, not exactly a copy paste straightforward thing to do, but who knows maybe it's what they're doing while the pandemic still lasts. It'd be the perfect WFH task to hand over to the team for a couple years, tbh.

  5. I think if you do do it in advance, do it within enough time that youtubers, gaming social media accounts and even gaming press can talk about it and maybe even hype it up before release. Maybe finish the trailer with a release date at the end and that's that, gives you a window of some extra time for last minute touch ups.

I think personally, looking up to a release is sort of a good feeling. I like that feeling of knowing in a few weeks I'll be playing something I'm really looking forward to.
