  1. You can now look up Ashley's skirt in VR. ahah
  2. Oddworld Soulstorm is impressing me in many ways! I was a bit skeptical at first, none of the Oddworld sequels we got in the past even got close to the majestic feeling of the original on the PSX, but this one really gets it. It seems like the director of the original also directed this one, and it shows. Story is actually pretty engaging, you really empathize with the Mudokins, and Abe too the flawed hero. Gameplay is pretty smooth, but very reminiscent of the feeling of the old ones, they modernized what they should have, but no more than that. There's a new crafting system in th
  3. I wanted to document my lighting process, so I recorded myself doing that night scene. It's sorta long (3.5 hours) but I hope it helps someone. Plus, it's free so you can't say uncle HP has never done anything for you I actually learned a lot making this. One thing is to never narrate these things at 1am, I was a bit too whispery.
  4. Oh... so it'll be out on PC too? Okay then. lol
  5. This is out in may right? I really want to play it, but it's impossible to find a PS5 right now. This sucks. Is there any word on how long this will remain platform exclusive?
  6. Posted the WIPs on our discord, never on the actual forum though. I did this during those weird months of hard lockdown last year, thank god I had a new toy to distract me during those times man. I wanted to wait until I had time to write up a breakdown before putting it here.
  7. Hey guys, Finally got around to make a short breakdown of the Source 2 scene I made a while ago. I made sure I took a few WIP screenshots as I worked on it, so I could do a thorough breakdown later on, so here you have it. This engine is really fun to work with, you can model nearly everything in editor, just like you could back in the BSP era, I really hope to see more engines (specifically Unity/Unreal) follow suit, as removing the need to use so many third party apps from your workflow really makes making maps a lot more fun. (Had to divide it into two parts, as ArtStatio

I just saw a guy vaccinate himself under an overpass. Things are lookin up.
  9. SIMON!! This looks so good man.. I've been putting off learning blender for years (tried it 10 years ago, and hated it lol) so I'll deffo give this a shot!
  10. The game looks straight out of 2007. But hey, the gameplay actually looks like it might be fun.
  11. Hell yeah, been fascinated with those 3 topics for the past few years too, i've read a few books and also watched a lot of youtube lectures on them, most recently philosophy as well. Which lead me to learn about history, specifically Roman and ancient Greek history, which so many of our values and language derive from. I think it's safe to say that psychology and philosophy became my two favorite topics to explore and research on.
  12. It'll get better once the baby hits the 1 year mark, hang in there man!
  13. With 3 out, now is the time to do it. I actually found it to be the perfect lunch time game, you die or fail the objective and try again tomorrow. Pretty dope game and it looks amazing.
  14. It's a pure stealth game, if you're not into that genre, it's deffo not the game for you.
  15. The original Aliens vs. Predator (2000), and to a lesser extent Aliens versus Predator 2 (2001) were fine video games for their era. Also, Alien Isolation is a fantastic game, probably one of the scariest games I've ever played, and it looks damn amazing, I think @PogoP worked on it, if I'm not mistaken.
  16. I was also thinking of Titanfall 2, another game that aparently didn't perform very well. The campaign is fucking amazing.
  17. Yeah, I agree. And the fact that Death of the Outsider gets this better is proof they came to the same realization. I have a feeling that in making a sequel, they tried to plus everything across the board, and they got carried away. Some things are better if you don't overdo them. I also preferred the first dishonored, one of the best games I've ever played. The sequel feels almost like a step forward in some directions, and a step back in others. I feel like having the choice of two diferent playable characters was not needed at all, I'd rather have them stick with one and polish it to p
  18. Like he vanished into the shadows in real life? People complain there's no good SP games, then an amazing one comes out, and they say to themselves: "I'll play it later... lemme hop on dust2 match for the billionth time real quick." Then the sales aren't as good as they could be. It's a shame we won't see any new dishonored game anytime soon.
