  1. Alright, didn't feel like making a new thread for this so eh (and this is what I'm working on so yeah). So as you can see I've got some problems here with some of the props and the water and I have no idea as to whats wrong, I thought the purple/black water reflections had to do with the cubemaps but I don't know really. First public image of my super secret map btw

  3. i made a shotgun aswell (ithaca 37) 1104 tris right now (unoptimized and whatnot), probably make another front sight sometime i tihnk imma make a highpoly/normalmap for it aswell so im keeping it all quads right now for subd. later
  4. pretty heavy wip (havent even started the texture yet), also trying out zbrush a bit.. its not the best ever but ohwell. i forgot wire render and polycount btw lol, kbai
  5. i have cod4 lying next to me right now, going to wait with playing it until i get my new computer. but from what ive seen from videos and screenshots it seems pretty awesome

  8. made some cover thingy 58 tris and 3 256x128 maps (diffuse,specular,glow) wirez also, it looks blue-ish due to the lightning
  9. i made an anti-air tank. wirez around 4-500 tris or something. i dunno if im going to texture it.. maybe, maybe not. k, imma go play episode 2 now.
  10. @Skjalg: i got them ingame but i dont know if ill release them because they doesnt exactly look as good as in the render.. anyway.. first of the space racers, still wip got air intakes, engine part, decals (suggestions please) etc. left to do i wasnt planning on making it this beat up, it just kinda ended up like that i like the way it looks though but now i have to go sleep, its getting late
  11. its working a whole lot better now, no more crashing, thanks a lot edit: another 'problem', the props shadows are striped ( like this: |||||) ingame until they move a bit (like if you shoot at them) its no big deal though

Ok so i compiled a model for cs source and it all went fine, until i tried placing it in a map. when i go to the folder with the model in the model viewer (in hammer) to select a world model, hammer crashes. its no huge problem tho, as entering the path to the model (instead of browsing to it using the model viewer) works just fine. i would still like to know why it happens tho
  13. thats real nice ginger_lord, i like the look of the metal heres a quick barrel i made, 236 tris and 512x256 texture (diffuse+spec+normal): wires, yo and the textures gonna (test)compile it for cs source sometime, also its 2 different textures if you didnt notice oh and im gonna continue texturing those space racers sometime aswell
  14. anyone wanna make a racing game? they are around 190tris each (trying to stay under 200 tris each) more ships, textures and whatnot tomorrow also i have to name them all, ohwell
  15. ~1500 tris ive started a bit on the texture but i wont show it yet since its not really much to see
