DICE definitely knows how to make one hell of a gameplay trailer. Armored Kill is going to blow Close Quarters completely out of the water.

For some reason I was never hooked into 2142. There was something about the gameplay mechanics that just didn't appeal to me. Granted, the Titan battles were certainly awesome, the overall feel to the game didn't seem polished to me. It seemed like a high quality 1942 mod without the finesse of a finished product.

So they're going to utilize the Call of Duty marketing ploy and ruin yet another franchise? Jesus titty fucking Christ, EA! Do you know any bounds?! In any case, I hope they set it during World War 2. That would seem like the most logical approach to appease the loyal fanbase. If it's another modern rehash, I'm going to punch a fucking baby.

FunnyJunk sues The Oatmeal for $20,000 based on ludicrous claims, The Oatmeal responds by making a mockery of FunnyJunk, pledges to raise the $20,000 and instead of paying the fine, split it between The American Cancer Society and The National Wildlife Federation. What The Oatmeal didn't know was that this would spread like wildfire and people have raised nearly $200,000 in just over a week. Because of this, FunnyJunk's lawyer is suing not only The Oatmeal, but also The American Cancer Society and The National Wildlife Federation. My thoughts: who the FUCK sues a cancer research organization, let alone a wildlife federation? FunnyJunk is going to get reamed in the ass hard by some of the greatest lawyers out there, and I can guarantee pro bono with how much attention this is getting. Anyone remember Jack Thompson? He's reincarnated.

Has anyone played Close Quarters yet? I purchased Premium a the day it was available and love what the new patch brought about, but I honestly have zero interest in playing CQ and have essentially just avoided it. There's no appeal there. If Operation Metro is a comparison to what it's like, then I'll steer clear of it. Perhaps I should take a whirl at it soon and judge for myself if I can work up the will, but in the meantime, what is the general consensus about it?

Consider me impressed as fuck and incredibly anticipated.
