Good point Tarky, I will change it. As for the texture being too dirty, I'll continue to adjust accordingly as the textures come together. The specific texture in Mirrors Edge wasn't exactly clean but I did go a bit further with the grunge. Thanks for the input guys! Edit: I do want to point out that I am recreating textures in a general sense. They will have differences for the purpose of the set coming together how I'd like it to while being directly inspired by Mirrors Edge.

Did a lighting test. I'm not to happy how the map turning out but I'll try to adjust some things, hopefully it ends well. I'll show the inside once it doesn't look ugly The screenshot is wide because I cut out some of the bottom which was dark and empty.

Sorry for the hammer screen I am still sorting out the lighting. I've been working on this for the last couple of days. I still have a lot to do before its finished but I'm sure I can before the 30th. Cool competition! edit- updated a bit. Thanks for the crit Josch, I'll add more of a foundation to them as soon as I decide on how to.

I've been putting off this house map I've been working on for CSS, but I did a compile today and took some screens. I put them into one so it would be easy to look at. Its all dev'ed up and ready for playtesting! (well almost) I based it heavily on a real house design.

There is no visual blockage. It gives you a message saying you can't go that way when you run into it and thats about it.

Actually in the map Jagd there is a very obvious invisible walll blocking a way to the American spawn point.

It was in DoD 1.3 I'm enjoying the new update but apparently the US had very sophisticated invisible barrier technology in WW2.

Nintendo knows how to have a good conference. The Wii is everything they promised and more (the speaker in the contoller) Now you may not think thats a big deal, but think about it- When you shoot a gun in Red Steel you hear it right right in your hand like your actually shooting a gun. Neat stuff.

Some of my first textures, I'll be posting more recent(and better) ones soon. Might as well get feedback on these though! The top two don't tile vertically. Cant wait until I get my new tablet, it will make life much easier.

I decided to take a break from my css map and do something with The Hidden content. Took me about 30 min, will never be turned into a full map. I thought I might as well post it here since I've hardly posted any of my stuff (yet) Mostly practicing my lighting techniques.
