I was actually waiting for a guy to be introduced with the skills to drive the tank. in the comics they only use the tank to drive down fences/as means of intimidation so I'm doubting it...

When the skinny men of MapCore unite to talk about how obesitas isn't real and isn't worth talking about, especially in the game industry, you're all sending a message to other MapCore community members -- don't post, don't participate, your feelings aren't valid.

I think that's okay in EOT because that's the special space for it; I avoid EOT and I'm fine with it.

But if you do it out here, in public, keep in mind that people are going to see this, and you're making someone like me feel less welcome here. What, so I'm going to have to start avoiding the "Gaming Discussion" forums too? I wonder how the fat guys of MapCore feel?

I'm not saying "censor" your opinions; feel as skinny as you want. But just know that there's a chilling effect on others you're intimidating with that attitude. A consequence. And really, you end up looking tactless.

fun fact: i've read that scandinavians in more northern parts used to have their reindeer eat amanita muscaria, so they then could drink the piss of that reindeer. the idea was that the reindeer would filter out all the toxins because they're more resistant to it.

it's a bit weird that they (vikings) would bother to use muscaria when it's mostly a deliriant and produces a much less lucid state than the even more available psilocybe semilanceata (which they also used). perhaps the analgesia made it easier for them to berserk. and perhaps the believable hallucinations made them think they really were at the gate of asgard participating in the most epic battle ever. there's really no limits to the suggestibility of delirium... (or psychedelics for that matter)

i'm hoping we will see some of it in the series. the introduction scene where he hallucinates valkyries was pretty cool.

didn't mythbusters debunk this? fairly sure one episode they have too much of the mushroom and were deemed unfit for fight due to stomach ache and shit. as far as these legends are willing to go, i'm more inclined to believe that their rage was natural

did they prepare it? (drying and/or boiling) that would remove the toxins and make it easier to digest without getting stomach ache. anyway, the mentioned semilanceata is much easier on the stomach and shouldn't have given them too much problems. they could have used the piss-method i mentioned.

i don't think they necessarily did it for rage, but to give a more spiritiual/religious experience during battle. as you probably know, fighting and dying on the battlefield was the most glorious and spiritual aspect of their life. it could also help them to deal with the fact that they might die. still, i agree that the effects (maybe excluding enhanced/sensitive senses) could easily have made it a lot more difficult for them.

i don't know if you've ever watched a mythbuster's episode, but they are quite thorough in their research. i would assume they tested the myth to its extended abilities. that being said, i just stopped believing that they used hallocinogens in battle. they might have been drunk, but i just don't think that due to the extensive effects of drugs they would have been the fearsome warriors they have come to be known as.

fearsome warriors? i think a half naked man in a violent delerium kind of meets that criteria.

but did you by any chance postprocess those images? on full view the compression is pretty horrible tbh and on the first shot you can see the outlining of the skybox pretty clear.

the heist was fun, but the game could've been so much more. really curious about what this is going to be
