Islamic terrorism as the name suggests is islamic and has everything to do with religion, trying to argue otherwise is burying your head in the sand. This is not the same as saying all muslims are extremists and terrorists, which is obviously total rubbish, but there is a longstanding issue within certain branches and communities of islam. Today, islamic terrorism or jihadism is the largest terrorist ideology active globally, I can name over 30 islamist terrorist groups active as we speak, I can name less than 3 Christian ones and they are largely irrelevant in comparison. Whilst the vast majority of muslims are peaceful law abiding people, there are still significant numbers of those that for some reason act as supporters or sympathisers for extremists and terrorist organisations, a problem that isn't present within other religions. Muslims should never have to explain or take responsibility for any terrorist attacks like some people think they should, it's just asinine. I do become irritated however when following an attack and the authorities take action to follow inquiries and make arrests that there are always those who treat the situation as being about "persecution of muslims" or other such tripe. Still we should never try to turn the stakes into a war on Islam itself because that is playing into the hands of Daesh and others alike. An iman once said that the problem is that it is said in either the Qur'an or the Hadiths (I forget which) that the prophet said that there would come a reformer to bring islam into the new age and that whilst some embrace this, others reject it. This is Wahhabism, the ultra conservative branch of islam which the Saudis retain, promote and spread all over the world. Much of this is about countering Iran's influence on the Middle East following the revolution of 79 in a long drawn out cold war that has been playing out ever since. Unfortunately it also spreads into Europe as well or Wahhabi followers from outside come into the continent and preach their venom and attempt to convert moderates into takfiris. Indeed part of the issue is the history of colonialism, the creation of Israel and the US presence in the Middle East and of course.. OIL. But a large part is rooted within Islam; Christians do not blow themselves up in Mecca...

Couldn't believe what I was seeing yesterday, Daesh need to be cluster bombed to pieces fast... I read that there's a problem with the Belgian intelligence services sharing information with the police to the point where M15 often tells the Belgians about potential terrorist attacks. What's up with that? It's been mentioned, the refugee situation does not help matters and I have no solution to the problem but letting everyone in and taking our "fair share" is so utterly flawed since we have no final numbers and people will keep coming and coming no matter what bit of paper Europe signs with Turkey. The security situation is alarming too.. surely when it's known that the attackers came back from Syria through the floods of people coming in and were never flagged once, that should start to raise some alarm bells, who else has got through that shouldn't have? I've got no time for the "we're all human" crowd, safety of our citizens above all, then we can talk about the rest...

Interesting idea, I would have prefered a new take on the franchise rather than a remake with the same look of the original made tech 2016 but this does look pretty cool all the same. Let's be honest, had Doom 4 done this, we'd all be jizzing onto our monitors, in fact.. I demand DICE scrap the current version and start doing that right now...

I saved one back in 2010, I used it as a placeholder for something but never got the others because I thought I would download them at a later date but then cgskies happened and it was like oh shit.. hah. Gulliver: That would be awesome, I actually have about 10 I wanted to edit.. maybe I should just quickly edit one or two sometime just to show how I wanted to modify them... Buddy: I saw that and it gave me a headache.. lol ,but I'll take a look at Pano2VR and see if I can get the hang of it sometime, I just don't want to be spending days making new skies if I can help it, already using that time for normal textures!

Well what I wanted was to have some of the skies in cubemap format so I could just edit them so they're not just stock, I was going to use STALKER skyboxes as a guide (I could just use those since it's freeware.. but I'd rather use my own). I can give you a list of the skies on there that you can make into cubemaps if you like or I could just go ahead and edit the existing ones and then you can covert them after? I don't mind either way.

I can only see the sphere downloads on there, no cubemaps afaik.. Yes it is really hard to find decent cubemaps, I'm just trying to get some good ones for a base to edit since I have no clue about making skyboxes (I can paint them but getting the seams to match up is impossible without something like Terragen as you say).
