The concept art that he is working from, is of the big combine structure at nova prospekt, the "train depot." You never see the place from this perspective but you are inside it when you meet alyx in entanglement.

You all know that this is nova prospekt right? Btw, nice map. Look in the models for HL2 and take a look at the one that is this building.
