christ it's a fkn circle jerk in here. Mino you know I like you but come on dude you can do more than this. This is well detailed and lit but that's all it's got: there's no underlying design. The setting is totally lacking, the entire thing is literally *level* and there's no open air whatsoever. Just let it be portfolio filler and move on to something interesting

If you want to be an LD, do singleplayer mod work. Show people that you can script and come up with interesting setups. Even if you really want to do multiplayer professionally, there is much more commercial demand for singleplayer designers. If a hiring manager wants to check out your work he's not going to get the entire team to play a few rounds on your map. He just might give your level a quick run-through though.

I'm so totally on board with episodic content. Full length games are getting shorter but they're still way too damn long. I want to be able to knock this out in one or two evenings, I don't want to be saddled with a game for a week until I finish it, or worse yet leave it off halfway because they were trying to squeeze enough gametime in. Keep it shorter and sweeter, that's what I want.
