Would be cool if the when you get to a certain level you can recruit lower level players to do missions for you with various criteria etc. Becoming a mob boss or whatever would be awesome. AN additional fuck around 64 player gang warfare mode would be cool as well.

Hexagonal trees would probably be ok and I think you might get away with some reasonable rocks as well. Maybe if constructed them out of smaller hexagonal faces as well?

oohh, looks interesting. More screens please.

Do bright sunshine, that'll look nice.

Amazing where you bump into people on t'internet.

That corridor in the second pic is a total fucking mess. Truly horrible. The rest of it and that main room in particular, looks really good.

Wonderful stuff Mino. Two thumbs up!

Same here, does not like that URL at all for somre reason.

Graphics look nice. Design is very 'bleh' indeed.

Another thumbs up. At last, something a bit different. Needs more (gasp!) props, stuff like dustbins, maybe some toolchest, kids toys in the front yards(trikes and stuff)? Not sure what the default HL2 assets are like, so you might have to get a few custom things made. Few more ideas for cover : Maybe someones working on their car in the driveway, so you've got tools and stuff lying around and the cars up on blocks, allowing for physics based amusement.

Brushwork is a bit cluttered for my taste, but shows promise. Lighting is too bland and uniform.
Worst thing is those default textures though, go forth and find something a bit nicer and it'll lift the whole thing.

TS version is still all go, we just need to do the whole testing thing. Which should be easier soon because I'm working on getting us a proper server. Thou shalt hear news on TS whence the new website is live. Which is soon. Depending on how quickly I sort this php crap.

well it looks nice but i have to say I have gotten incredibly bored with the "industrial area near old canal" themed maps
:(I'm sorry to say that I just ahve to second that with a vengance, this is well done, but I'm so bored of the theme, seems to be what 90% of people decide to do with HL2, which a crying waste of the engine.

aye, interesting prospect.
Wish I were good enough, which is going to happen for a bloody long while, dodn't have the time at present. Full time work is a tremendous pain in the arse.

I don't think it means an end to traditional content creation for games or signals a new wave of making games like this. It does sound like a unique and interesting game though, can't wait to see/hear more about it.

No money in mine

Credit and bank card, old student card, driving licence. Library and video cards, national insurance card, various other membership cards. Magnetic swipe thingy for work. Thats about it.

Thats fucking awesome.

I don't have no digital camera, so I have to make do with enlarging the pic taken by my wanky camera phone.

Aside from the fact that I already work on one mod and help run another, yes, I would at least think about it.

HURAH!
Praise be unto ..er whoever.

NO, doesn't look like Quake 1. More like early Quake 3. Brushwork is alright in places, but it doesn't flow very well, your texture usage is erratic and often innaproriate and th lighting is very bland indeed. Looks like it might be somewhat fun in some of those screens, but visually it's very messy.

And ns is shit and old.
Sod off. I'd much rather play HL at 100 fps rather than dicking around with Source at 25fps and there are many people in the same boat as me, besides which nothing of NSs complexity and originality will be out for ages on source.

Nice, but you've mixed about 3 diff versions of the MP5 there and dear holy hell could it do with some optimising.

Awesome pics Strat, looks like a fascinating place.

Stoke is only 15. There ain't that many people who are currently active (in the communities I lurk in) who can do everything to be honest. Lots of modellers/unwrappers, few texture artists, but not many who you'd call the complete package.
Edit : Just noticed those pics you linked to Stolve (quote and copy paste dhte links), the M3 is actually my model avec his texture. He did it after seeing this :
'twas for a mod I started, but has sadly gone into hibernation due to a lack of interested coders.
