  1. I thought Frie had a little strut to his walk earlier... Congrats, Alf!
  2. My only complaint is that the hand looks way too big on all the gun models. Other than that, good stuff.
  3. Mostly yes and freshmens at the art of creation and overall knowledge... pfft. everyone knows women are made from sand.
  4. they removed hotlinking to the wmv. heres the page to the link. http://thepoliticalteen.net/2005/09/19/nashinnzinga/
  5. http://thepoliticalteen.com/video/nashimnzinga.wmv discuss. I'm shocked that some of the things that guy says he actually believes. Gotta love stupid people.
  6. Yeah, but betas are generally more original content and alot less buggy. The internal alpha we have for bms is a lot more polished than this. And what is the problem with me voicing my opinion? I would have worded it nicer if I hadent walked away from sow with such a dissapointed look on my face but that was my overall impression. imho, this was a very dissapointing "beta".
  7. From what I played, this mod is nothing original. Its CS with DOD gameplay that takes place only in desert settings. There are bugs every six feet. No sprites work, damage is unrealistic, flip a car and you fall through the terrain, open the console and just read every line as some kind of error saying "cant find some kind of CS assest because we didnt take the time to remove all the references", no object sounds, skills dont work, maps look incomplete, stall on all weapons animations, and a cs maplist. I could go on but im getting bored just talking about this game. I would be hard pressed to play any future releases of it.
  8. Am I the only one who thinks they never went from this step to the next step? Imo, the fear level design was good gameplay wise, but all the locations (at least in the fear demo) seemed to consist of box rooms/hallways with little to no detail. Don't get me wrong. FEAR was fun to play and when you go back and look at a game like HL2, you notice that alot of the rooms are box rooms with little to no detail (mostly the rooms near the end of the game), but the plus of HL2 is I didnt notice this until I played it through the second time. With FEAR, I noticed it right off the bat and wasnt that impressed. Still gonna buy the game, wanna play it, but just thought I'd express that thought. Tear it apart if you want, thats jut my opinion.
  9. pwned. awaiting excuse...
  10. whose mazy?
  11. It gets worse. Rumor has it that DX10 is not backwards compatable because it will use an entirely different set of libraries. If you launch any game that is not DX10 in windows vista, vista will emmulate a DX9 enviornment (think of what mac OS10 does for Dont know about you guys, but I'm not all that anxious to jump onto the vista bandwagon if this is true. Worst comes to worst, I'll do a dual bootup with xp and vista until the hardware is fast enough so I dont even notice the difference in performance.
  12. I'm not saying Daikatana was a bad game. I thought it was worth playing through. What I'm saying is that Daikatana was hyped up to all hell and featured delay after delay after delay. When the game finally came out, it was build on the Quake II engine at the time of the Quake III engine. Fans were dissapointed because it looked dated and did not live up to its hype. The general concensus was that it sucked. I'm not saying it sucked. I'm just saying lets hope that that does not happen to Nightwatch. Maybe its just me, but I'm detecting similar patterns in the development of Nightwatch and Daikatana.
  13. I'm telling you, they're turning Nightwatch into Diakatana.
  14. It is the lighting and shadowing system in Source that makes me refuse to work with it.
  15. http://pc.ign.com/articles/650/650213p1.html I stand by my original statement that if the Terminator himself signs this bill, it will be the most ironic thing ever.
  16. shit, fine... I... I turned out fine...
  17. Eh, I played plenty of violent games when I was young and I turned out murder.
  18. Im sure that all of use played Wolfenstein 3D, Doom, Duke Nukem, etc. Back in the day, those games were complete immersion. I'm sure I'm not the only one that actually felt (for lack of a better term) like I was inside the game. Thats the reason we PLAY games is to escape reality and be given the ability to be someone else and do things we could never do. Yes, sometimes this could involve brutally murdering someone in there sleep. Anyone here brutally murder someone in real life? Anyone here jack a car and drive on the sidewalk feeling no disregard for the pedestrians you ran over? etc... I dont recall who said it, but they were damn right when they said fucked up children are fucked up. PERIOD. A video game will not make a damn bit of difference. right on.
  19. http://pc.ign.com/articles/649/649866p1.html If The Terminator signs that, that will be the most ironic thing ever.
  20. I hope what happened to Diakatana doesnt happen to Nightwatch.
  21. Wolfenstein 3D is what started it all for me. My oldest brother got it the day it came out and I was hooked. I was about six when it came out. First console I got into was a SNES. I was a PC gamer before I even knew about consoles. Didnt get an SNES until way after they came out. Super Mario World was my crack. Duke Nukem 3D started the whole modding thing for me. Made levels and changed the enemy stats so you could kill the biggest, baddest boss with one pistol shot and made it so it took about 18 shotgun blasts to kill a pig cop.
  22. imho i prefer doom 3 and unreal for single player mods. I find more versatillity in them in terms of modding options than in source.
