as far as I know, from talking to some people at school, DX10 is a Vista only piece of software.

wow. that looks stinking awesome. there are a few things i don't like about it, like the creased areas with the veins going through them. the veins look creased and it sorta jumps out. but wow. that looks fun.
sadly, I don't expect i'll be using it. at least not yet. maybe in a few months when i really get into my new college.

that's frickin awesome. music is sweet too. i think i might go watch gone in 60 seconds now.
-
i'm not sure that's a fair comparison, regardless of engine. this looks very very good though. i think Doom3 maps are among my favorite. it's just the look of them.. maybe the textures and smooth lighting. i dunno. i just like them, and this one looks like it's going toward the top 5 or 10 percent.

Ignore the ear =].
HOLY FRICK! That is my friend Calvin! The resemblance is incredible. I wish i had a photo of him to show you. i'll have to look for one tomorrow.

pics 3 and second-to-last blow my mind. that looks nothing short of fantastic.

and my video card just died. noooooooo...
not that I wouldn't have had to upgrade everything else to play it anyway. 6 months. then i will do everything all over again. DX10 hardware will be out then too. gotta think Crysis at the same time.

Bioshock does look fricking awesome. and let's not overlook the "xxxxshock" aspect of it.
say shock 20 times

once you get some decent lighting in there it will look very VERY nice. wonderful job so far. i can't wait to see the finished product.

what editor does FEAR use anyway? A new version of DEdit?

super impressive. i love how expansive the streets are and the attention to detail in all the buildings. quite amazing really.

i know what you mean reno. it's pretty rediculous, but it was quite fun. you can launch like 50 rockets at once. it's fantastic. and the world is very very destructable.. i think. it's been a while.

Did it even make it out in the US?
I've played it, so yes. I was working at gamestop (jeeze.. 2 years ago now) durring the Christmas season. I only saw it there for a day or two, but I definitely saw it. It was fun too... makes me want to buy an xbox.

uhh... dang. i hadn't noticed that. what a shame.. taints an otherwise awesome photo. oh well.

yeah. well, that doesn't work. at all. I understand what you mean, but they just blow everything out and you get a big wall of white. Maybe if you set the aperture really narrow you'd get something interesting.

does it really matter why he wants it? if he wants a cz version, let him have one.

hah. yeah Turok had an insane amount of weird cheats. like fruity colors.
-
i own Turok 1 and 2 for PC. never finished either, but I love those games. Sounds like they're putting a lot of sweat and blood into the game, and i really hope it pays off. It'd be a shame to have yet another below-par Turok game out there when they could be so awesome. Still, even if it isn't so awesome, it's using U3Engine... it looks pretty. Gotta love the shot of that T-Rex with the saliva dripping from his teeth.

yeah. i'm buying before it's out. buying one for my brother as well. it's going to be his late birthday present.

I'm surprised at the voting though. I thought the architecture would have the most. That's my favorite anyway.
