So when the Source SDK came out i just HAD to try it out, and so i did.

cs_wasteland shows the stuff that i have tried out so far wich includes a lot of things, including terrain making with displacement maps.
I am currently working on the map and i just wanted to give you a little piece of what i am aiming for.
The rocks will probably change alot, same with the not-even-made terrain instead of the flat sand brush
Fix the 3d sky box and find out why ambient_generic plays the rain sound everywhere thought the flag has been ticked off.
Last but not least, i want to thank PhilipK, andrew-, Velfolt and Frank_Desembler for commenting and testing the map out and gives me some ideas/suggestions wich makes me improve the map even more.
When the first beta arrives, they will probably be the first to test it
