Hmm, changes to come: Good eyes on the shadow seam. At midnight last night I didn't notice it, hehe. Will fix. The neon won't change though, I like it and later when this thing is torn apart and put into Flash it'll flicker and spark, it'll be neat, promise. As per the wasted space, I will be making more little trinkets and such to fill that area I think. Giving it a "fuller" appearance. Thanks for the good crits and comments everyone

Good post wacko, very informative. However when it comes to electing officials I see a lot of these "wedge" issues as really non-issues. They don't effect the states in a way that say, taxation, environmental laws, trade tariffs, and medicare do. As for abortion, I am all for the option to exist. It's not like they're forcing them on people, sheesh. I think it should be heavily taxed, but legal. If it's not legal, abortions will still be carried out, only with the possibility of the mother dying as well. I am unconfortable with the idea of sanctioned prayer time in schools (the whole seperation of church and state thing) but as a t-shirt once said "As long as there are tests, there will be prayer in school." Seriously though, if people want religion, they can go to a church. They can pray on their own time and heck, that's fine. But school is for learning reading, writing, and arithmatic. Assisted suicide I'm all for as well, but again, I think it is a non issue created to merely divide the voting public on religious/secular grounds. How someone should have the power over life/death of another based on their beliefs baffles me. They're not forcing these people to make these decisions, and it's up to them. Sheesh, butt out of their lives. Homosexuality - again, a non-issue blown out of proportion to divide the voting public on religious/secular grounds. How does it effect your life if you're not gay? The answer: not at all. So why do you care? Seriously. Ferret, statements like this make me think that you're so far in the closet that you're finding Christmas presents. Hopefully it was a joke.

"Help help, I feel outnumbered! My whiteness is scared!" Come on man, there are good and bad in every group. You live in Oregon? I live in Texas, man. We have a ton of Hispanics here, most are incredibly hard-working, family oriented and jovial folks. Very friendly and even if they're illegal, most of them have jobs (which like Fletch said, we wouldn't want to do). I think of them as our modern day Irish. They'll find their place, make their grab at the American Dream and someday will be just as commonplace as those of Irish decent. I think, however, that border control should be strengthened, if only to regulate the amount of people pouring across our borders. We've always had a weak southern border, and that is a problem, if only for security reasons and the ridiculous "war on drugs." Which I'll get into another time. (Before Duffy and Urban start vomiting accusations of me being a druggy pothead or something equally inane: I do no drugs, what-so-ever, and I don't condone their use. However I see the war on drugs as one of the biggest mis-managements of federal funds and much like picking at a scab, it's only making the problem worse.)
