  1. Random texture thread eh? All painted by hand~ ~
  2. That's actually the lesser of my two systems~ I can run CS:S just fine on the other with my 9600 AIW Pro.
  3. Client-side AFAIK. You'll sometimes see people shooting your corpse, and missing, since the body fell in a different pattern on their client. BTW~ Radeon 7000 PCI @400x300 BABY~

  5. The block-block lettering set~ :wink:
  6. The first one looks great: color scheme, layout, gear logo. Just change that font, it's tough to read and seems out of place with the lettering below it.

    Ooh, ogee arches.
  8. You try SC4 mino? If you liked 3k, then you'll love 4. The terrain editor is quite impressive.
  9. Gotta mention the latest from the SimCity series. 3000 and 4 have some excellent tracks. I personally admire the soundtracks from FFVI and and FFIX the most, but everyone seems to have their own opinions on stuff from the series.
  10. mhmmm, little kid gangs with tanks... What kind of view perspective does the game play at? The stuff looks pretty good, it just seems like some buildings were built for top-down 2d, and others for isometric.
  11. That's very good to hear.
  12. Gorgeous there peri, what game was that shot taken in?
  13. I'm liking the simplicity of the cover; it shows how recognizable the whole damn thing is.

    airships = win
  15. I guess not... I know I've seen them somewhere in the game, possibly in some office during the office complex sequence.
  16. IIRC the eagle tex and the white house tex are in Gordon's locker during the first segment of the game.
  17. You need to be added to the BT usergroup before it shows up... So once you get an invitation email, it will contain sign up instructions.
  18. I've posted my list of invites (about 15 total or so) in the Move In BT forum; Those who posted should be emailed shortly. I'm still free to invite more, so just feel free to ask.
  19. Similar weapon assortment, yes. Such a thing doesn't make it a silly CS clone though, it's much more in-depth than CS ever could be. For instance: - Each team may have any number of objectives, as well as sub-objectives. (Which are optional, but provide some sort of benefit for completing them.) - Teams may be split into squadrons, each with a nominated leader who can assign what tasks and objectives for the specific squad to complete. - It's not necessarily a clash between a terrorist force and a counter-terrorist force. The two teams can be whatever the mapper feels like assigning them to. It's a different story and feel for each map. - MI is class-based. Snipers, Scouts, CQB Specialists and the Commando. Each has their own weapon selection, as well as an additional niche for the team. Such additional abilities include lock-picking, healing with a medic, distributing additional ammo for teammates. - The crosshair can move independent of the view. (Hard to understand until you experience it, but it's innovative and very beneficial)
  20. Thanks for all who've signed up so far, keep 'em coming. BTW- Illa did the mapping for de_laguna, and gin did some models for it. mi_laguna is not the same as de_laguna, just the same name and and a similar setting.
  21. The new and revolutionary Move In! mod for Half-Life is looking for a few more beta testers. I've been told there is no set limit on the amount of people I can invite, so just post your email, and I'll have my people call your people. Don't forget to stop by the MI website at http://www.moveinmod.net/, and #movein on gamesurge.
