I liked the HL1 version, though it always felt like there were very few servers and not that many people. I wonder what kind of impact that will have when people will have to pay for it also. Might buy it though.

Yeah, played an hour, maybe two last night. Freaking loving it, contains so much more content and entertainment than HL2 did. Was also very surprised at how life like the HL2 characters really are. Alyx's emotions come over so real from time to time.

Thats just one mans opinion on it though. I'm quite sure its different from company to company.

Haha, this game is wrong in so many ways.

Tested it the other day, it ran pretty smooth. Dux has been doing a good job optimizing the brushwork. Looks and feels great in-game. As for the little Insurrection updates... we're just three slow level designers thats all.

Not bad, the orange makes your page pop out a bit. You could set the letter spacing in RENO a little tighter, which allows you to expand VATION so that they both align properly. Just a matter of typography. Perhaps align your "circular" logo so that it optically aligns with the top of the R from RENO as well. Font in your menu bar looks totally out of place, get rid of that immediately and replace it with something more suitable (same for copyrighting). As for the maps, be sure to use lowercase. Capitals is great for slogans and titles, but not for entire parts of text, which is supposed to give the viewer a pleasant and informative view on the map aside of seeing it visually. Which brings me to the next issue, you probably had this in mind, but be sure to include full sized pictures of those screenshots.

The hillarious music just makes it complete.

That's just silly. If I wanted to see ugly old veteran war hero's with a bad mustache and a flex suit, I'll go to the park. It's just such a weird transition though. First he's the cool silent killer in an enemy compound. Then he's devouring poor animals in the jungle, and now he's smacking down opponents with his cane. Just goes to show that developers do evil deeds with game sequels. Props for being original though.

erhhh! i just wanted to make a map without those eyecandys for once. Well, i'll try. You might as well just drop the fancy architecture as well then, and just go for a killbox. Adding a glow sprite here and there in a window won't hurt, I'm sure.
