This shit is so annoying. A lot of these feminist movement women (and men) often forget that women are also the cause for tropes. It's not just men. Its both men and women. The women who read into this stuff are usually focused on high brow aspects of their lifestyles and pride themselves on being intelligent and independent. Not all women are like that. Just like not all men are like that. I agree with what Taylor said. She is intentionally looking for a problem. I can find problems against hispanics in games everywhere... but why? There really isn't one. I can make there be one by looking for one though. Are there some problems with how women are presented from time to time? Sure. But its not rampant and every where - and it especially isn't a male fantasy world. It's both. There is clear evidence that over the past 20 years elderly care has diminished with younger generations being influenced by the media to ignore their parents, especially when they become elderly. It is our responsibility as the game industry to properly represent the elderly in a positive manner so we can influence all generations to take care of their elders. ... see how easy that is?

The visuals are absolutely fantastic. Great job. I haven't played it but this is definitely a quality bar I'd like to try out it's good to see you take chances on high quality, then allow yourself to admit you're not happy with it and you want to redo certain parts. oh man, just looking at worldcraft gives me a headache memmmoories.....

I've played on large monitors like that for a while, hell i played all of Risen on a 47" too... honestly, when you're sitting that close its not worth it... i don't like it when i have to physically move my head to look at a UI element maybe if it was a bit further back from your keyboard/mouse...

this, attached with the lack of a 'retry' button... but if it takes forever to load again, or kicks you back to a menu - absolutely infuriates me. It's one of the worst things in games and i don't know why some designers still do it "LETS MAKE THEM GO BACK THROUGH LOADING AND MENUS LOL". Especially in parts of a game that's really difficult and you have to do it over and over.

pre-orders are mostly used to gauge interest to let marketing spends unleash or not. i think most people want those free items, or a discount. i can see if i'm a huge fan of the game and i want everything the game has to offer, i'd pre-order it for that item.

I always really liked the boring fear environments. Felt like real places. Just a super depressing atmosphere about them and they made for good combat spaces. FEAR 3 is also good. I'd say it's probably the best of the franchise. It's hard to out do the first of any series but aside from a few modernisms (the scoring system, which I actually enjoyed but it seems counter to a horror game) it's a really solid shooter. Some really cool levels and the guns feel good. Took a lot of shit for no reason, and it's at the very least a better game than Fear 2. Thanks for the recommendation, I'll be sure to pick it up soon! I don't get why people have so much hate for F.E.A.R. 2? They fixed all the problems with the first game people bitched about, I personally love it as much as the first... Amnesia was cool but it wasn't that scary. Being scared is all subjective though. I thought Siren Blood Curse was scary as hell (the ps3 one).

we tried to organize something last year but it was mostly *eh* and everyone kinda just winged it. I only met up with Bram and Philip last year after i was already drunk. The only thing I'd love to ask is to not combine it with polycount. Polycount is too big and chaotic - the people are all over the place with specialties/focuses/personalities etc. That Irish bar is pretty cool everyone ends up at, the W is too chaotic and filled with old schools... and its expensive as dick balls. I guess it all comes down to the mood everyone wants, there are tons of options everywhere. I'll be pretty busy at nights meeting people so definitely the sooner we can lock something down the better fuck it. strip club.

Ive been on a Sopranos marathon, watching them all finally... i can't stop watching it... but it definitely has its weak points. It's awesome how much better TV has gotten.

:/ i really liked AVP/AVP2 (the originals) oh well i don't like how the aliens look themselves. it's like someone took edge highlighting and went overboard, just like the last AVP game.

really cool stuff however, it does seem like using the extra shader instructions for the alpha vs. the extra texture memory for an alpha texture wouldn't really work that well in large scene scenarios. That's just a thought though, it would really need to be put to the test love the gif break downs!

We purchased an sdk, hopefully we get one soon ive had a raging hard on for vr for ages, bought so many glasses and head tracking dildo things over the years... i know this wont be the best, but if it makes a splash in the consumer market it can really tip things off.

Who be going to GDC 2013 this year???? Can we do a legit meet up this year? Lots of people in the US this time around. Looks like there's plenty of time to save up moneys too. I'm giving an unannounced session/presentation thing, but i think that's all that is on my schedule so far. That means more time for drunk butt slapping.
