  2. You really improved the map a lot from the first time seeing it, superb work! Only thing to bother you are those torches, they're a bit too strong aren't they? The last shot could've use some more color instead of all that grey. Anyway, awesome work, really surprised me
  3. Fallouts, well i tried 2 for like few hours, dunno why i didn't continue. The newest Commandos too, don't even know what's been done after the 2nd one, i still sometimes play the older ones, great games. Oh and you gotta count in Insurgency too :roll:
  4. Agreed on the square part with Ryukolink, there could be more variation. I think outdoor parts lacks a bit depth too, the last one lacks vertical depth at least. Factory one looks pretty nice, even tho there's a lot of crates around :wink:
  5. I really hope that those textures are just placeholders, horrible. It's kinda blocky too like hessi mentioned. Everything else is looking good tho. What are you doing this for, HL2:DM?

  8. First thing that came to my mind was "that is way too dirty", then i noticed it was russian themed. Great job there. Like SnipaMasta already told, flipping the uv's on few of the windows might be a good idea. Looks like you got pretty much detail for a single 1024x1024 texture, nice work
  9. I've been thinking this thing for few years already. I really prefer more the stylised look than realism. I still want few games to aim realism, just to see how far we (ok they) can go, like Defrag said. It's definately amazing how far we (they) have gone already. It makes me so excited, for example, to think about what would Painkiller look like with nearly 100% realistic graphics. I'd goddamn shit my pants with those monsters

  11. Dodger, everything is just too flat, walls, ground, roofs. There's also some very odd texture alignments. In other words, it needs detailing. sk3tch, looks great. Just make sure you wont use the most used textures there, map feels very bland to me if it reminds too much of HL2 or CS:S maps. Nothing bad to say now tho, keep it going!
  12. Loved the first one, one of the best games ever. I got disapponted to the change of his face tho. It didn't really feel like the same story anymore, i would've never believe that it had that much effect on me. Second was fun, but nothing amazing in it.

  15. I prefer crt, dunno why. Just like them more. Besides, you can get them almost free these days, i got my 17" (which is pretty good) with 10 euros from a friend. Someone offered me earlier one 17" crt for free, didn't take it tho. I think i'd rather buy a new used monitor from someone than putting money on fixing the current one, unless it's 19" or 21".

  22. Well this texture is going to be on a huge wall. I'll make few different versions of it, like one without window and few with something special in it. I didn't want it to have anything repetitive at all But yeah, it might need some more detail and such.
  23. Minotauro, looks superb, texture seems like a little blurry tho I did this last night. I wasn't going to post this wip because everything in it went wrong somehow, i'll probably just use it as a placeholder untill i encourage myself to redo it. Sorry if the render is too dark, you don't need to see more than that
  24. This is for one iraqi scenery i started doing. I haven't had any time to do anything game related at all for a long while, now i have at least few months i guess. Took like 2 hours or so, it's oversharpened i know, that can be fixed tho
