  1. those were transparent textures and patch meshes i believe. im almost positive they werent models. in source though you would want to do models with transparent textures.
  2. There's a weird seam on the border of the texture from the normal map. Otherwise I really like the wall texture.

  6. i prefer radiant to hammer, and quark. that's all the editors i've used, but all the flavors of radiant i've used are pretty effecient. and along with kfs, i love patch meshes.
  7. slicky, i tried using the spot light entity, but after compiling it didnt actually work. as for the center cube, i slapped on the measuring tape texture, but maybe someone could make a texture from the actual cube, because i can't import textures to source, my vtex isnt working.
  8. my attempts at a mapcore iceworld: http://216.180.232.170/~tehrahns/brenda ... eworld.zip http://216.180.232.170/~tehrahns/brenda ... ld_vmf.zip i through it together pretty quickly, which is pretty obvious in the one seam of the terrain on the ground. the map doesnt have the weapons spawned, because im not sure how to include the ammo of the weapons, its pistol only. i thought that steam coming off the ice blocks would be cool, but i couldn't get it going.
  9. i had the same problem at one time, i was about to lose all work and source for a medal of honor mod. i booted up linux with a recovery cd, and then ftp'ed the stuff to my xbox. im sure you could ftp it to anything though.
  10. well sorry didnt know that wasnt allowed. i was working on a playoff bracket for a league in photoshop didnt care to change the font. didnt know people were so picky here. anyway im gonna stick with zyndromes. thanks zyndrome.
  11. there's a uvw unwrap if anyone wants to attempt to skin it also.
  12. i used zendromes, with a little editing i did i could post the uv i did on it, but its very very sloppy as i did it in milk.
  13. ive been working on a traffic light model, and my texture stinks. i'd be ever so greatful if someone could make me a skin, even if its a 5 minute job, im sure your guys 5 minutes beats my hour anyday.
  14. maybe i could make a trade for it. i have a gmail invite, and i could get you some webspace. i know its not worth the models, but maybe some incentive.
  15. its for call of duty mod revolt. its based on a map for my old mod for medal of honor, but the theme has changed. the layout stays the same. the library will be the center of the map, where the flag will be placed for reverse ctf, and possibly team king of the hill. road texture looks very nice, i'll see how it looks.

  19. I'm currently mapping out a level thats urban based. I've made a building thats style is based on that of the NYC Public Library, but I can't model as well as I used to. I'm looking for someone who would be able to model and texture(easier than it sounds) a lion: Also possibly two variations of statue like the statues on the top of the building: . I would say the poly budget for all the models is no more than say 4500. I would guess the only real texture needed is a generic marble one, with minor shading perhaps.
