Do we have anyone who is playing wow in the US... and when I say playing I mean is actively playing it and has a level 68 or higher character ?

I thought it was pretty clear... not everyone can say who they work for, as their employer ask them not to be open about it when possible. I think that is reasonable for some people. I do find it sad that people would be asked to do such a thing when its clearly something I think worth sharing atleast within the scope of this site... and I would not say what we have here if flaunting but more a comprised list of people who have been around this site for sometime and would like to mention there accomplishments in the recent years ... of with taylor has been a part of

so I have read over most of the posts to this thread and just laugh at what I am reading. First off Blizzard is not going to change the art direction of Diablo 3, its just not going to happen. What you saw in that demo was less than 1% of the first act of the game. I do not think you can cast judgment based on that as where the art direction of the game has gone. I think one thing we learned through wow and warcraft3 and diablo 2 is that story is important to people and the environment around that story is also important... you have to build up to it and as you progress through it, the world around you picks up that feeling of the story. What you have seen so far warrents the warm look and feel because nothing really horrible has happen yet in the game, your adventure has just started and the evil wraith is few at this point. I can assure you that the game keeps true to the diablo look and feel. As for some of taylor's comments I agree with him 100%, Blizzard does not make crap... we never have and we never will. We do not believe in releasing stuff that is not complete, that has not been tested and a game we our selves would not play. We still support all our older games, for example we just released a patch for warcraft 3 on monday, which added to the game player created content, we released a patch for diablo 2 last month, we released a starcraft patch several months ago. Some of these games are 10 years old, Battle.net which is over 10 years old, still to this day gets updated with new functionality. We care about the gamers... We did not release starcraft: ghost because it was not going to be an awesome game, we waited 10 years for starcraft 2 because we wanted the time to be right and its going to pay off and I think the same will be for Diablo 3

well I guess I can respond to this thread.... assuming I will have to deal with the hate later. My Old Main (Undead PvE Mage) http://www.wowarmory.com/character-shee ... &n=Tazeran my gear is a mess as the guild i was in stopped raiding so it was like a mixture of raiding gear and pvp gear and I am slowly working on saving arena points. I currently am lvling the following: Blood Elf Warlock PvP http://www.wowarmory.com/character-shee ... s&n=Razoth

you know I do not think zach looks good with the beard thing... just thought I would mention that.

he speaks the truth in the pipeline sucking and I fund the credits tab be informational. Valve has always lacked in providing any sort of tools that make stuff like this easier. I support such a project and hope in the end it actually gets finished.

I think its safe to say that if your doing any programming on windows these days it would be good to have the platform sdk.
-
congrads on that

both 2005 and 2003 are supported now as of last October. if you load up the wrong sln file in the wrong IDE you will run into issue.
-
we should start a mapcore league... since the 1.15 patch added league support, which is kinda cool because it allows for replays and uploads win/;pss stuff. I could get the needed mpq file so we could run our own league, might be fun anyway. could host here on the core website

I have no clue where people would ever get the idea that this was or is ever going to happen. Blizzard doesn't do console games anymore
-
its going to be called Rockin Roll Racing 8 for the xbox750
-
people = sheep is it really sheep when you have to pay a monthly fee ?
-
ha... I do not think you have to work there to see what they did right and why they have a large player base.
-
yea.. that is a poor line of logic, the avg wow player is somewhere between the ages of 26-34, which I think if you asked those folk they would not define themselves as "kids" or people no one wants to play with. I think what you forget is what makes wow a playable game compared to other MMO's and that is the learning curve... The reason you get a large player base is because the game is easier then most MMO's and I think someone else mentioned tayloring to the elite and that is dead on. Blizzard makes games that everyone can play, with little knowledge on how to play them. Of course does this allow for a couple sour apples? sure, but in the overall scope of things it turns out well.

If by 6 million you meant 11.5 million to date...then yeah. I would love to see a new Starcraft RTS rather than Starcraft MMO. where do you get these numbers ?
-
such harsh comments despise eh
-
this statement is true

I approve... Its a nice map, that does not play bad when you have a good amount of people on it.
