When the first balance patch hits, I hope it addresses choppers. It is completely retarded that when you have two engineers on board, the bird becomes invincible. Even with multiple sources of damage to it, it just flies off as the engineers repair faster than you can damage it. Doesn't help when anti-air rockets does fuck all damage, and Anti-Air Vehicles does as much damage to air as infantry, as in next to nothing. In BF3, if an air-vehicle took a tank-shell to the face, it got destroyed. But in BF4, getting hit by a tank is just a minor inconvenience. And if you manage to bring it down, the crew has already bailed and the aircraft suddenly won't give you any points.
Also the various throwables needs to be tweaked. There is no point in using anything but the V40 MINI nades, as they are pretty much M67 FRAG nades with longer throwing distance and less damage, and you get 3 of them. The description says it has smaller blast radius, but that doesn't seem to be the case. Smoke nade is situational and does what it says on the tin, but the rest is just disappointing. Incendiary can't kill anyone even if you stand right on top of it, flashbangs doesn't work at all.

Yeah man this looks way too much like COD. Where are my giant outdoor maps? I don't want to keep fighting over like 2 blocks of city
Large outdoor maps exist, just have not been shown properly yet. I am watching people play this on console at the moment, with copies they got way early, and there is maps that are what you're looking for. Like the map Golmud Railway, which is a large open outdoor map, with one capture-point that is around a locomotive on a railroad that stretches across the map .. and you can drive it. And the cap moves with it! And then there's the map with the massive satellite dish (Rogue Transmission), looks very vehicle heavy, but it has areas for infantry as well. Looking at a guy playing on a map that is around a chinese holiday resort (Hainan Resort), looks like it's going to be a lot of long range engagements on that. Can't tell how it will be vehicle-wise, all these console muppets seem to play just Domination or TDM, meh.

Also, some store(s) have broken the street date for BF4 on consoles, so there's a couple of streams up already of people playing it on PS3 and 360.

Nic: Yeah, it is not there anymore.
Why was it removed?
Nic: At first, we wanted to outline the progression of the player with XP, but it was reducing our motivation to steal. The main goal of a thief should be to gain loot. Garrett is already the Master Thief, so we saw no need to have XP as a core mechanic.
Yaaay. Maybe now we can actually call it a Thief game!

try the obliteration game mode that just got added, super fun!
And DICE just added a 20 minute time limit to that mode. Probably because there's a bug that causes the bomb to spawn below ground after the tower has collapsed, so nobody can get to it and it becomes a stalemate. I joined a game to find it had been running for 2 hours because of that bug.
Also, if you have low framerates no matter what, DirectX problems, or just want high perfomance with low quality, make a "user.cfg" file in the same folder as BF4.exe , and copypasta this: http://pastebin.com/B4H3QJ0L

BF3 is at this point mostly servers running just Nosehair Canal in TDM, Metro Meatgrinder, Davamand Peak, and Operation Firestorm.

It's still far from the full experience when you can't be Commander, apart from EA/DICE members. It's such a game-changer and could really help deal with hard-to-get-to threats, or just blow sniping squads off rooftops. Another thing is the extremely limited unlocks in the beta. You could've at least tossed a silencer in the there to use, other than to the mediocre sniper rifle. You don't always want to tell everyone about your position.
Also if you want to be more useful as Support, take the muzzle brake off the U100-MK5.

Been watching terrible mockbusters lately, and I desire more! Such amazing talents, high budget and effects that makes entire Hollywood jealous ... except none of this is true.
The Amazing Bulk (Hulk) - My guess is that their total budget for this movie was a grand total of 15 bucks ... for the pizzas they had during the day this was shot. The whole movie was probably recorded inside someones garage, covered in green screen paper. I liked the end where they completely got out of ideas and just filled it with stuff that probably came with the amazing 3D software they used, in an "Examples" folder.
Agent Beetle (Spiderman?) - The best way to describe this movie is that's it's like a porn-movie ... without the porn. Many of the scenes (or whatever you can call them) feels like setups for some in-and-out, but it never happens! And the "villains", oh boy ... MUTATION: EXTREME AGGRESSION. Yeah, a dudes "superpower" is to get angry. Also got the best walk-away-from-explosion-without-looking moment in cinematic history.
Captain Battle: Legacy War (Captain America) - I lost track of everything while watching, I have no idea what was going on. It's like they had a script for a 10 minute short, but dragged it out for almost 1,5 hours. Has boobs in it, so that's a plus. And once again felt like it was going to turn into a porn-movie at times, but didn't. Figures when the production company is the same as the previous movie. BUT WHOA SHIT, SUDDENLY THE PROTAGONIST (his surname is Battle, derp) DRESSES UP LIKE A GIMP AND SLAYS RED SK- I mean .. TOMATOFACE WITH A SWIFT MOVE. THE END.

lmao! That could actually be amazing if it tells the target they've been highlighted, so they can shit themselves and think of how to survive the next 45 seconds. It provide the kind of high-tension burst you normally only get in single-player games.
Even better would be if the player were highlighted for both teams, allowing the target's team to be white knights and protect him.

I'm only a few missions in, but I really like it so far, feels like a proper splinter cell game. Although I miss Ironside, the new voice actor is actually doing a nice job. Cutscenes have a good flow and doesn't feel so cringeable as they usually do in games like this. I miss the small interogations Sam used to do with captured NPCs though.
Eh, can't have a full interogation with the Kobin guy because you'd just go "wow Adam Jensen, you've changed" because of the voice.

Wow, I feel like a dumbass (more than usual). I looked at the achievements, saw something about upgrading a gun ... and then it hit me .. I NEVER REALIZED THAT IN MY PLAYTHROUGH. I finished the game without any upgrades, just purchasing new gear. But now I know for the Perfectionist playthrough.

I give up. I've played several games in a row where I have been promoted, got weaponpacks, and used boosts, only to have it torn out of my hands as the server crashes, making all of your efforts a waste of time. And for 63 other players.
