And the rabbit hole goes deeper.
In this thread Joakim Mogren posted "Thank you for your interest in the Phantom Pain. The development process has been long and...strange...but we hope it lives up to expectations. Please look forward to GDC". Now if you check his profile, you see a strange user video : http://www.gametrail...hantom-pain-mme
At 40 seconds in, for like a frame, you see this:

Meanwhile in the Ground Zeroes trailer:

This is some deep shit. Futhermore, the video title itself posted by Joakim Mogren starts with "TF-XXI", which is apparently a reference to this : http://metalgear.wikia.com/wiki/Miscellaneous_groups#Force_XXI . The title also contains "TEWT" which means "Tactical Exercise Without Troops" : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Military_exercise
Now back to the Ground Zeroes trailer:

Is "The Phantom Pain" about the first VR trained child soldier? Chico?!

What is annoying is that from all the people who live in my town, only 20% or so actually do something (either work, shop or study), the other 80% just sits around watching TV all day apparently.
Sounds just like the UK???
I'm seriously thinking of getting SimCity 4 with Rush Hour and waiting until the next sequel of this. It seems like they have a good foundation for a few generation of SimCity but there are far too many problems for it to be considered ready. All these simulation issues are... crazy.
Go ahead : http://store.steampo....com/app/24780/

Also get the NAM (Network Addon Mod) plugin for SC4, it's essential : http://www.wiki.sc4d...x.php?title=NAM

Scratch that about me thinking the end was nowhere in sight. About an hour more of play and I finished it, so it totals about 8 hours of story with the occassional exploring for tombs and collectables for salvage. The percentage on the savefile takes all that into account as well, so don't believe what it says! But still pretty good.
shitty design. reeks of producer "this isn't hard enough" logic. fuck you. i have weapons, let me use them. jesus christ fucking pisses me off no end. why are we still doing this shit.I agree. Fuck the QTE's. Oh look here's a wolf and I have to press buttons within a very small timeframe, instead of pulling my gun and fill it with lead. Thankfully the QTE's are far and few in between after that. The only QTE's that makes sense is the dodge moves you can unlock to cripple enemies if they attack you in melee range. Plus in the end of the game...
Lara has a clear sight at the bad guy Mathias, tries to shoot him with a bow, but the area has a strong wind like in other temple places and it flies away if fired. Ok makes senses, but you never get the opportunity to just pull your gun and shoot his brains out from a distance! Instead you gotta go around the area, shoot baddies, fight a boss that is easy as shit, and then kill Mathias ... in a QTE struggle. What?

The citysizes won't increase until the powerhouses we have today (highperfomance gaming rigs) are mainstream, i.e. even your dad has one ( source ) ... which is a stupid decision. Why not just let people decide for themselves what size they want for their city? Someone with an average rig could pick something small, while another with a gaming computer that can run onehundred instances of Crysis and Dwarf Fortress at once can pick a gigantic city size. And when they allow larger cities, it will without a shadow of a doubt be paid DLC. Plus reviewers are pointing out that the game has seemingly intentional limitations, a telltale for future paid DLCs.

Phew! This game was released today, and I have been playing this for 7 hours straight, still no sign of an end, and the savefile says I am only 63% done. Mother of god, this game is long ... which is rare today! On top of the story, the game has so many collectables it's insane, a steady pace of upgrades with new tools, weapons and abilities, and Lara takes so much pounding (no pun intended) you wonder how not every bone in her body isn't broken. This game is supposed to be a reboot/prequel of the Tomb Raider series, and it does it well!

Just saw 'Wolf Children', the latest movie by the 'The Girl Who Leapt Through Time' director Mamoru Hosoda. Says it all. Watch it.

Other things suggest it's ... a movie : http://www.neoseeker.com/news/22313-square-enix-trademarks-deus-ex-human-defiance-could-be-the-title-of-the-indevelopment-movie/

With A:CM being the top seller on Steam for a couple of days before release, it might have sold very well but many feel buyers remorse and demand refunds.

Bloody Palace DLC (free update) coming next week on Feb 20th:
http://www.capcom-un...via-free-update
DmC fans, I'm very excited to announce two pieces of DmC news today.
First, we have a release date for the long-awaited Bloody Palace Mode! This highly-anticipated mode will go live via a free update next week by the following time table:
North America - PS3: Tuesday, 2/19 | Xbox 360: Wednesday, 2/20
Europe - PS3: Wednesday, 2/20 | Xbox 360: Wednesday, 2/20
Second, the free update next week for Bloody Palace will be accompanied by a patch that addresses a few major pieces of fan feedback we've received since the launch of the DmC demo. The most notable ones are given below.
-Poison AI issue addressed (she no longer enters non-interactive state)
-Lessened damage and style boost from Demon Evade
-Arbiter "Drop" now causes damage and style gain even if jump-canceled
-Non-damaging moves no longer provide style points
-Damage done by weakest enemies increased
-Damage done by all enemies increased on Nephilim and Son of Sparda modes
-Adjusted attack (parry) windows for Rage spin move.
-SS and SSS will now decay back down to S if you stop gaining style
-No more
(where Dante flies around) -
Ok, there's a solution to "RAGE Tool Kit" not showing up in the Steam Tools list :
1) Exit Steam.
2) Go to the Steam folder.
3) Delete the "appcache" folder.
4) Run Steam.
Now the toolkit is visible and available for download.

I ... I just finished the game, on Hardened difficulty. Now, in the GIF above, you see an alien just walking around. That is the ONLY level in the game where you face those guys, and they only react to sound, and simply just blow up. Overall, I felt like I was shooting way more human enemies than xenomorphs, plus the human enemies are actually deadlier than the xenos we know and love/hate. Another mechanic is the weapons. Instead of finding them laying around the levels like in most games, all weapons unlock through ranks in the game. The top right corner is an XP-bar, and when you unlock a weapon, it becomes instantly available in the Inventory. Instead of carefully picking what weapons you need, you can just reach into your bottomless box and pull out Rapecannon 3000 at any given time! Same goes with any attachments you unlock too! Plus the pre-order weapon is a sticky-bomb launcher that makes quick work of anything it hits, making the game much easier.
In total it was a 6 hour campaign at the difficulty I picked, and the ending that was just dull. The final "boss"-fight only managed to piss me off, because the cutscene after it just feels like a spit in the face.
Score : Wait for 75% off on Steam sale / 10

Nowhere to be found here either, and looking at the forums, it looks like it's a 50/50 chance you got it

That's a funny way to spell MGS3 Snake Eater and its very "James Bond" like intro:
