    You just made me trying SBP again :) I didn't like it earlier with my 2+1 monitor setup, because i had to change my display settings everytime i wanted to use it. But i'm cloning now my primary monitor via Windows 8 onto my TV so i don't have to change the settings everytime i want to use it. And i kinda like it that way. My setup is simple. I have my TV connected directly to my graphics card and then i simply start SBP with the Xbox 360 controller. I used to have a wireless keyboard+mouse kit, but either are they broken or the battery is empty :D They are perfect for these "special" issues when you might need something to type for example. There is also a keyboard with an integrated touchpad.     I think i might use SBP more often now. :)

     

    These wireless keyboards are on sale on amazon right now. I got me a refurbished one for 18$. Too many situations where I want to use steam chat from my couch so I caved :P.

    Though I have to say they kept the 2001 references pretty light, and the movie definitely stood on it's own :). I actually don't think they are very similar movies at all, story wise and thematically

    This was very awesome. I'm surprised how well resolved the movie was in the end. I can't think of any loose ends or plotholes. Everything makes a lot of sense and it's not the mindfuck that people were making it out to be. Very very good. Could for sure be a bit shorter with less earth and more space parts, and mcconaughey acting a little less mcconaughey-ish. All the space parts were awesome, felt like an oldscool space adventure movie at times. Can we talk spoilers yet? The robots owned

    Finally found the mp3 player I didn't think existed. Until now.

    Supports MicroSD cards up to 128 gb.

    Only 100€

    Always been reluctant to buy anything from apple due to their obvious capitalism, consumerism mindset.

    And frustrated the capacity of cheap mp3 players hasn't increased over the passed f'ing 8 years. We have landed a robot on a comet today, but for some reason mp3 players have limits. Fuck that shit.

    Why not just use your phone? Any ghetto phone can play mp3's these days. My phone was 100$ and supports microsd cards as well. And spotify

    So happy to finally get this out there :). The response at blizzcon and online has been incredible. I'm up in the clouds right now haha.

     

    For you guys wondering which mapcore people are working on this, we're actually a pretty small environment team of 5, 3 of which are mapcore members (Philipk, HP, and me).

    Went to New-York with the girlfriend oct 19-22. It was really fun. Rented an apartment in Brooklyn with airbnb, it's really cheaper than hotels and we got to experience the neighborhood. Pleasantly surprised to be honest, didn't feel unsafe once, did not witness any crimes, 2 graffiti (penis shapes :P),7 min walk to subway station, 20-40 min trip to Manhattan depending of where we were going. Americans need to step up their game in the food department though. The meals they serve taste average at best. Good thing we had access to a kitchen!! Ate at a vietnamese restaurant in Chinatown and it was sooo good!

     

    I airbnb'd an apartment in Queens a few years ago. On our first night some gangbangers  broke in the front door, beat up our host, threw her down a flight of stairs. Cops showed up and interviewed us. We got the hell out and found us a nice hotel in Chelsea. Cops called us the next day for eyewitnesses because someone had been shooting at the house. Other than that New York was awesome :P, and I agree that it was hard to find good food in manhattan :)

    I'm a bit tempted to go for a similar setup now. I have a PS4 but there's some games which I'd rather own on PC or are PC-exclusive. It's a huge plus to be able to choose whether you want a couch- or desktop experience. For example, I'm gonna get Shadow of Mordor sooner or later and I might actually want to switch between keyboard+mouse and gamepad.

     

    if you have a PS4 you can use the PS4 controllers with bluetooth and this tool: https://code.google.com/p/ds4-tool/

    The touchpad can be used as mouse control. Could potentially be a better setup than steam with xbox controllers :). But it's all experimental so probably comes with some kinks that need to be sorted out.
