Driving in LA is pretty chill, a lot more crazy drivers in europe, if you ask me . If you use GPS just make sure you turn off "avoid traffic" though, as avoiding traffic will guide you straight into the ghetto lol.

Space engine is awesome! Haven't tried it in a while, but it looks like it got a lot better since last time I tried it .

One of my favorite things to do in LA is go see some improv comedy at the groundlings theatre and then hit some dive bars in West Hollywood (which is actually cool, unlike hollywood which is probably the most disappointing place on earth). So yeah, I recommend that for a fun night out.

As a tourist Venice beach is also a lot of fun to visit, probably best place to get that california vibe as an outsider .

Our new game after hammerwatch, we are actually three people now. The new guy, Krizz made the art, then I built the level in the editor and added some of the powerups in photoshop.

Dark Souls 2. GOTY and probably one of the best games I've ever played

Looks like dunes too me. I've been to where they filmed return of the jedi ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Algodones_Dunes ) and it looks exactly like that. Pretty sure no CG in that shot .

Holy shit that actually looks really great. Little beaten up ball robot is cool. Claymore lightsaber looks cool, and I love that the internet already hating on it haha. I cant wait

If you need any reminder of how good the CG and compositing in jurassic park is, remember that the jeep in this shot is also CG. This is before stuff like ambient occlusion and digital color grading even existed

The CGI isn't finished yet, its got another 5-6 months of time to get right.

I'll wager that a "we'll fix it in post" attitude is exactly why the FX look like something from the asylum lol

looks really terrible.

Also the compositing/color grading makes it look like a syfy channel movie lol. They managed to make the FX looks worse than the first one
